We usually do Kona twice each trip. Dinner. Mostly because my DM really enjoys it (I do too). We have a favorite server we ask for. Last year she made our 2nd meal extra special. It was during the Year of a Million Dreams, near the end of our vacation. My DD9 was chosen to be a Chef for the Day. The dessert staff came over to our table and then she got to make her own dessert. She also got a certificate for her Magical Moment. She was so happy-she said it was the best part of the trip!

I believe it was due to our server, I think she set it up.

We were celebrating DD's 9th birthday that trip.

Here's some of the food-
Kona Bread
Sticky Wings for Two - glazed chicken wings with a tangy mustard drizzle and toasted sesame seeds $12.99
Lump Crab Cakes - with Asian tartar and pineapple relish $10.49
Shrimp and Scallops - panko breaded shrimp and pan-seared scallops with sticky rice and ponzu, spicy guava-passion fruit and wasabi cream sauces $20.99 This was good, but skimpy-still hungry after.
Tuna Oscar-so good that we both had it on our return trip. I'll be having it again on Sept. 12th!

Kilauea Torte $5.49
Banana-Chocolate Creme Brulee - with a chocolate spiral $5.99
Re: 'Ohana for breakfast twice. We've eaten there our last day the past 2 trips. I could see doing it twice, I just don't like to use too many TS for breakfasts.
