While my DH would prefer steak, I love Prime Rib and would like to fit it in this trip. Any suggestions for a good restaraunt choice?

Yachtsmans Steakhouse, Le Celleir, Shulas
Only a few places serve it.
Concourse Steakhouse used to have the best prime rib.

Le Cellier's hands down. I am a prime rib nut, love it flavored, smoked, marinated and plain.
The hunt was on for a good prime rib meal this trip and since all the buffets took it off their menu we went to LC. (didn't want to spend 2 TS credits)

The waitress stressed their filet over prime rib but couldn't sway me, she even went so far as to say "it isn't that good, I will be honest". But I am glad I didn't let her sway me.......it was FANTASTIC!!
It was a very plain, no seasoning, prime rib. And was like butter it was so tender. I loved the savory taste of just tasting the meat not heavy spices as some places do.
I would have it again in a heart beat!

Turf Club at SSR does a better prime rib than LeCellier. Better atmosphere. (Outstanding Cheesecake too!)

I just checked the menu and Prime Rib is not listed. :confused3

Is it true that the buffets have stopped Prime Rib? We have several Buffets planned and was hoping I could find prime rib on the menu. :sad2:

I agree with the PP.

LeCellier is more hype.

Turf club was far better in all aspects. Service, atmosphere, and lastly the taste, tenderness, and texture of the Prime rib.

Le Cellier gets my vote and we just tried CRT for the first time and they also serve a good prime rib. CRT, however, is two credits if you're doing the dining plan.

Yes it is true there is no prime rib on the buffets.

I too was hoping to find some, most menus still advertise it on the menu's but I couldn't find it and we ate at: Boma, Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace.
CM and CP had a very nice strip loin done to medium but no prime rib. :sad2:

Le Cellier was not that good the last time we were there last October. I ordered the prime rib medium rare and it came out in 2.5 seconds raw. I had to fight with the waiter to take it back and cook it to my liking. He lectured me on what medium rare was (I always order my meat medium rare so I'm fully aware of what it is) and how the prime rib was slow roasted for 3 hours..I said, that's great, but it's raw. Take it back. I'd go somewhere else, Le Cellier has just become hype and not as good as the first time we ate there IMHO.

Thanks everyone, think I may look into the Turf Club although I just looked at a menu for Grand Floridian Cafe and they have Prime Rib. We are staying at BLT, so that may be an option as well. :goodvibes

I used to swear by Yachtsman Steakhouse, but they removed it from the menu last year. With that gone, I would vote for Shualsl

We stayed at the GF a few weeks ago and there is no prime rib at the GF Cafe. They do have a ribeye steak and at 1900 Parke Faire the prime rib has been switched to the lower quality cuts of beef like the rest of the buffets. :(

Best bets are Shula's and the Turf Club.

That's disapointing (WDWInfo has it listed), I made an ADR with hopes of Prime Rib. :sad2: Does anyone know how far the Turf Club is from BLT? Is it easy to travel to?

YSH hands down. :thumbsup2
I'm a filet kind of guy, but my wife is a prime rib lover. She's had it there and said it was great.

The Turf Club is at Saratoga Springs Resort. The easiest way to get there from BLT is probably to walk to the MK bus stop and hop a SSR bus. Or take a cab.

However, last I knew Kona also served prime rib....a monorail ride away for you.:goodvibes
