Which resport? - POFQ v CSR :-)

We are planning a trip for January 2016 and unsure which resort to pick (our choices being POFQ, CSR & CBR). We have stayed at various resorts previously, of the moderate ones we have been to CBR, POR and CSR (most recent). Our cheapest option is CBR, but husband doesn't fancy this one again.

We enjoyed CSR on our last stay, (this would be the most expensive option, but all within a £200 of each other), but are swaying towards POFQ due to it's size and the fact we haven't stayed at this resort before. Thoughts please...

We will be flying from the UK with free QS dining, staying for two weeks, with DS 3 and DD 18 months.

The only one we've stayed at is POFQ and we love it!! In fact, we have our third trip coming up there in less than a week and can't wait. Our original plan was to make our way around to different resorts on each trip--but now I can't convince my family to stay anywhere else! The best part is the small size. Nothing is a far walk at all--something you'll appreciate with two little ones. It's just so quiet and relaxing after a crazy day at the parks too. One thing we really love is the one bus stop. Yes, during the day you may share some buses with POR. But at the busiest times of day, you'll have dedicated buses. One stop, get on, and go! The staff there is amazing. Just don't have a single negative thing to say about it! And it is a sister resort to POR so if you're interested in using any of their facilities, it's about a 10-15 minute walk along the river.

Of the moderates, we've stayed at CBR & POFQ. Unequivocally POFQ! We loved this resort and the entire PO resort area.

Our mantra is to always try a new resort!! POFQ will enable you to take a bus to DTD which is fun. Out of all of them I think CSR had the best bus service, but we love the PO resorts.

Given that you've stayed at the other ones before, and the prices are close enough, I would vote for POFQ because you haven't been there. We haven't stayed there either, but have stayed at all the others, and POR is our favorite moderate. We like the atmosphere/decor of the PO resorts better than CBR and CSR. Boat to DTD and only a short walk to restaurants/food court/activities at POR.

Last two trips have been at POFQ - what we love - boat to DD, good bus transportation, small resort (on WDW scale), nice grounds, queen beds, easy walk to POR. No complaints other than pool is now a little too juvenile for the age of my boys (but you can use POR pool too - or at least you could last time we stayed - but we never did)

This next trip we are staying at CSR (which I stayed at for a conference years ago). Here is why - pool more appealing to teens, hammocks, large beautiful grounds (kids are teens so walking isn't an issue), multiple dining options, and business class room.

When we started planning this trip we knew that POFQ was probably not going to be an option since we are going during FD. So, I started to look at other options and really liked CSR. Felt it was a good fit for the stage of our family.

My vote would be for POFQ. Haven't stayed at CSR, but if it's in any way similar to CBR (size-wise), then POFQ is definitely my preference.

Another vote for POFQ. Boat to DTD and pool was great. Our son was 5 when we were there and he loved both of them. Plus the resort itself was very very quiet, which will be welcome for your young kids if you're doing afternoon naps/breaks in your room. Have a great trip!

Thanks everyone for your help. I think we will go for POFQ It looks like a lovely resort, quite and small and I think the little ones will love the boat. Just need to get it booked now!
