Hello,
I know BCV is not available to be waitlisted. Are there any other sold-out WDW DVC resorts not available for a wait-list? We are not interested in the Poly for an add-on. Is BWV available?? Thanks!

They aren't taking wait-lists for any of them right now. Your best bet to add on may be resale.

If you really want to buy direct, I would call your guide and discuss. Things change all of the time and we have received pricing and deals that were not official.

I just came off the Fantasy and attended the DVC meet. They said that there was a waitlist for the sold out resorts??? I will call my guide. Thanks

My guide called last Friday to try to tell us about the Poly incentive. Out of curiosity I asked about the prices at sold out resort having gone up. He confirmed they did. We only talked about BWV, BCV, and BLT. As of Friday the wait lists for BLT and BWV were both open. BLT is $180 pp and BWV is $160 pp buying direct from DVC. Many other posters have also indicated VGF also closed the wait list but I can't confirm as I did not ask.

I know the wait list for VGF was still closed as of last week. When I heard about the price increases, I called my guide to inquire whether that meant all sold out resorts could now be purchased. He stated that was not the case and those on the wait list would be subject to the increased prices.

Even with current resale prices, $160/point for BWV is crazypants unless you really really only need 25, and maybe even then (I have not done the math).

Thanks everyone! Decisions!!!! Do I go with BLT/higher price/longer contract end date or less money with BWV and closer end date??

I was in your situation in August, except I was going back and forth between BLT and BCV. I looked around for a the right resale contract. I ended up going with BCV because we like the location of being close to two parks. Hollywood Studios is our favorite park. I was hung up on the closer end date, but it is still 26 years away. We have two relatively young DDs and have plenty of years still left to enjoy the resort. We also usually travel during long weekends in October/November, so I wanted to be able to make sure we could get in at BCV.

I think if I buy another contract it will be one at a resort with a longer life, right now it is a toss up between BLT and GFV. That will solve the problem of my BCV expiring in 2042.

we went for BWV as we love the location and wanted to walk to two parks, and also be able to stay near Epcot for food & wine, the end date is still a long way off and I've no idea if we will still be going to Disney then so it's about what will we enjoy doing now and for the next few years.

I LOVE my BLT location and MK is our fav park. GF is beautiful but it's costs more and it's more points per night on average to stay so I would prefer just keeping with BLT----the 9 to 10 min walk to the MK can't be beat for us.
That said, I would love an Epcot location too for Flower and Garden and Food & Wine. Now that I know BCV is off the waitlist, I am looking at the resale market. I appreciate all the feedback!
