Which resorts have water mice & DVC discount?

Which of the resorts have the water mice for rent? I know OKW does but I'm not sure about the others. We will be staying at SSR and I thought that might be a fun thing to do with our boys during one of our afternoon breaks from the parks. I'm pretty sure SSR does not but I thought of going to POR or DTD or ???

Also, does anyone know the cost per 1/2 hour and if we get a DVC discount or not? (I can't find my little perks book right now.)

i know for a fact that the Contemporary Resort (not DVC........YET ) has the sea-raycers/water mice and a DVC discount. I highly recommend renting these from one of the resorts along the Seven Seas Lagoon (GF, Cont, Poly, Ft. W) because they dont have the slow throttle....I think thats what its called. If you rent them in a smaller body of water (SSR, OKW, POR, etc) they top off the speed at something like 5 miles per hour. On the SSL resorts they're much faster and go about 12-12 minles per hour. Fun!!!

I believe we could rent these from the water launch & bike rental area at the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge when we stayed there in February.
I also believe you could rent larger craft from there as well. We had a great time on the 4 wheel bike, we road out to fort wilderness.

We rented some water mice the day after we bought our points and got a discount with our temporary membership card at YC/BC marina.

We have rented water mice and boats from VWL and from contemporary. It is alot of fun on the water mice on Bay Lake, except when you break down like I did and had to have a CM get on board and get it started, boy did my son love that one , but that was only one time the rest of the times on the mice were great and they do go alot faster than the ones at OKW.

May I ask a silly question I have never heard the term water mice...what are they? When i know what they are, what kind of a discount do i get as a dvc member?

They are small boats that can be rented at some resorts. I think they fit one adult and one child or just one adult. My husband and daughter rented one at FW in March. I think the DVC discount is 10%. I don't remember the over-all cost but it was a little pricey.

Years ago when we went to VWL they had a length of stay rental option for boats and bikes. Is that still available anywhere on site?
