We had a great room on the first floor of the Wilderness Lodge. It had a patio and you could walk out to the otter pond. The kids loved all the birds, ducks otters, bunnies..... We could also see the monorail and Contemporary through the trees.

Any of the DVC Villas - BWV, BCV, SSR and associated resorts - BWI, BC/YC. You need a deluxe for an actual patio. We had a great one at SSR in "The Springs". We were overlooking a nice pond with a fountain - lots of ducks.

None of the moderates will have a patio. But a ground floor room at CSR or CB the entrance may feel "patio-like" if you get one of the more isolated buildings. I've heard of people using folding chairs from home to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. If your in a centrally located building though the people traffic would be too much.

I know some of the 1st floor rooms at the Beach Club have the patio's off the room.

We had a patio at the BC (not the villas), it was a standard room with a water view, although it was just a view of one of the small pools. ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

while it's not a "patio" and it's certainly not private, you are "able to walk outside from your room" (and it's the only way in or out!) at *all* the mods and values because they do not have indoor corridors but only outside corridors which means your room door opens to the great outdoors :flower:

We hade one at the Poly. I think we were in the Tahiti. It was Lagoon view, ground floor. We also had a beautiful view of the castle. The doors opened up to a patio area with chairs and a table but you were also a few steps from the beach, hammocks and torches! At night is was so much fun to sit outside and watch the boats come into the TCC and listen to the "park"...the howling from the HM and the train and people laughing.

This view was beautiful in the morning as well. You could see the park "wake up" and the sunrise is beautiful over the lagoon and MK.

In April we had one at the Poly in Tokelau, with gorgeous views of the water and the Grand Floridian, which we only paid Garden View for (still $467/night!). The ducks came to our windows all of the time and DD3 LOVED it. I liked being able to just walk outside.
