If money was no question which would be the best resort to spend a week at. Does more expensive mean better for example the Grand Floridian or arwe there better.

Money No Object you say well then I'd take a week at the AKL cons. level of course. We did this on our last trip we had a "ANYTHING GOES!!!" trip it was so incredible. We spent 18 days at AKL. Oh how wonderful. I'd live there if I could!

I love OKW, AKL and BC (for the pool, only - and maybe the new Gelato area). :goodvibes

For a full week? Depending on the size of your party, and the ages, I'd be at a home away from home resort. We stayed at OKW for our big 10 day trip. The kitchen and bedroom doors become invaluable after a few days.

What are your priorities? I would rank those and see what resorts most closely match them. That will give you a good idea if more money = better for your family. You do get different things when you spend more money, but if what you're "buying" by upgrading resorts aren't things you particularly care about, then they won't be better for your family and you will come away feeling cheated.

Things to think about:

Which park(s) will you spend the most time in?
How many people are with you?
Do you plan on using a rental car?
What kind of food/dining do you want?
How important is theming and what type do you prefer?
Do you typically use the hotel a lot or do you just pass out there after full days at the park?
Do you cook or do laundry while on vacation?

Depending on these answers, you'll have a better idea of what resort will maximize your dollar.

For me, I don't feel that GF is worth the money, but then I've never stayed there. The theming just doesn't excite me. I'd rather do the Poly...but it depends on other aspects of my vacation too...Like how much money do I have to spend on food and park tickets? If I could also eat anywhere as much as I wanted, then GF becomes more attractive, because having free reign in the restaurants there would be pretty cool for a dream week. Do I also get my pick of rooms?

If money were no object, I would pick either WL, BC, or Boardwalk. I love the way all of these resorts look. They appeal to me even though they are out of the range of my pocket.
