Ok, maybe I'm a bit ahead of myself, but I have a contract in ROFR. I'm hoping it goes through. Assuming it does, our next trip will be Aug 2012 for 8 nights in a 1bdrm. My kids will be 9 and 4 at that time.
My question...which resort????
BLT: Dream of staying there but wondering if I should venture to BW
BWV: Have never even seen the Boardwalk, can't wait to try it out!
BCV: Want to try SAB but like BWV nervous of buses to MK
AKL: Eventually, not yet.
OKW: Very excited to try here but gonna shoot for closer to parks this time.
SSR: Same as OKW (this'll be Home if we pass) Excited for THV,
WLV: Stayed at WL, hoping for something new this time.
Also, would you book at your home resort at 11 months out and switch at 7 or just wait till 7 months????

You always want a plan at 11 months out at your home resort--if possible. So if you pass, make a reservation at your home resort 11 months from check in--then waitlist somewhere else. If you do not get your waitlist or can't get a room at 7 months you will always have a place to stay. You will definitely have to book 11 months out if you want a THV--only about 30 of those released to
