We're planning to rent a deluxe villa in Oct. We will not have park tickets for our entire stay, so we will be spending a good amount to time at the hotel. We've stayed at the WL before and like that it's small and quiet, but we don't really like the dining options. We're looking for something that's fairly small, has good dining options, and has scheduled activities/recreation on site. Which resort would you suggest??? This trip is for 2 adults and 2 children, ages 6 and 14 months. Thanks! :)

OKW has tons of activities and it is close to DTD. You can ride the boat over, and while it takes a little longer than the bus, it is a relaxing trip. Otherwise, AKV has activities and you have Boma, Sanaa, and Jiko.

I would recommend Boardwalk Villas because of their theme/atmosphere, walkways to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, entertainment each night and they have the most number of Table Service Restaurants and Quick Service locations among the Epcot Resorts.

Personally, I would not suggest OKW. While it is a nice resort, you mentioned that you wanted something that is small and OKW is definitely not small. All deluxe resorts have scheduled activities. AKL is very nice. It is fairly small, nice pool, good restaurants (Jiko, Boma, and Sanaa) and a CS (Mara), and has animals right in your backyard. If you want something on the monerail loop and close to MK and Epcot I would go with BLT at CR. It is one big building but separate from the main CR building (there is a bridge that connects the two). They have a great water play area and great restaurants (California Grill, Chef Mickey, The Wave, and Contempo Cafe (CS)). Another option would be BWV or BCV. They are within walking distance of eachother. The BCV has one of the most popular and fun pools. You would have easy access to Epcot and HS at either of these locations. If you stay at either of these locations you would have access to the restaurants at BC, BWI, and YC. I would look at pictures of these and see which one appeals to you more. All of them are great resorts!
