Which resort would you choose??

Akv we have stayed at kidani tWice now. I love the animals, pool and the rooms. We usually cook in our villa but the odd time we want a quick cs and being that there is not one it was a pain. I big pain but it didn't stop us from going back. We took my parents past year. Probably my dads last trip so I tried so hard to make it special. I knew he would like the okw stay and he did but was unsure about akv. My parents loved it! jambo seemed grander in the sense of the lobby and gift shop so for us was nice to visit but kidani had that real dvc feel to it which we Luve.

Kidani.

The size/layout of 1BR and 2BR are much better at Kidani than Jambo.
Kidani will get you 2 full bathrooms in the 1BR and 3 bathrooms in the 2BR. Plus the master bath is Huuuuge with a seperate shower.
In jambo, the master bath is seperated from the master bedroom (by a hallway that is open to the living room) and the shower is a tall step into the jacuzzi tub.

Now if you decided to go for a GV, I'd say Jambo because they have the pool table room.

Also you said you had cars. Kidani.

Kidani has a parking garage under the resort at ground level (no ground level animal "entrances" into rooms so with multiple elevator banks its really easy to get to your cars.
Plus DVC villas are on floors 2-5 so you can get a view closer to animals vs Jambo where rooms are on the 5th floor.(Or 6th for concierge)

I would choose an AKV savana view. Checking out the animals from your room will be very enjoyable for the kids. Since you have not stayed there ir will be special for everyone with the theming. Great splash/pool area for the kids at Kidani.
