Which Resort Restaurants without ADR?

We're there during the Easter break. Are there any nice restaurants that we can go to without having to make an ADR for and is fairly cheap. We've booked Chef Mickeys for DD's birthday and is going to run to about $200 for the 5 of us and although I'm happy to pay this on a special occasion is expensive for just a general meal.

Try the Whispering Canyon at The WL..it is pretty reasonable for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner..and it is fun..the waiters/waitresses do antics to entertain the guests..kind of like Prime Time Cafe...but unlike the Prime Time the food is good..in my opinion.

Another try would be Kona Cafe at The Poly...very good breakfast and usually little to no wait..also reasonable.

Have a great trip! ;)

The fact that you said "Easter Break" makes me nervous. You can always make ADR's just to be on the safe side and then cancel if you don't want them.

I say without ADR's as I think its highly unlikely I will get any reasonable times this close to going? Would I need to make an ADR for whispering canyon?

I'd suggest Beaches and Cream for both reasonable and for not doing ADR's.

B&C does not take reservations, you're seated in the order that you arrive. Go either when they first open, or dine at an off time to be seated faster.

We too are going the week after Easter. Just two weeks ago I was able to make reservations at prime dining times for our group of 7. Don't despair on ADR's if you want them, go ahead and call to see what they have available.

Last year we went Easter week and Wednesday morning we made a breakfast reservation for Boma on Friday.

Perhaps try Spoodles on the Boardwalk for Breakfast as well. I think resort restaurants for breakfast that are non character are probably easiest.

You'll need an ADR for WCC. B&C doesn't accept ADRs, so you will just have to wait for a table to come open. Could be a long wait. Food courts may be your best bet. Maybe the cafeteria at Fort Wilderness (forget the name, I never eat there).

Pretty much the only place where you will get a sit down meal for the five of you that won't cost $200 (includes the tip), will be a food court. Even Boatwrights at POR will require an ADR and could get up there in cost (maybe not $200, but close).

Lunches will usually be less expensive than dinners.

Do you have a car? You could try offsite.

I think we'll be sticking with the counter service eateries - will save money and we can eat when we want as we normally eat outside of peak hours. Thanks for the info though - will bear them in mind for our next visit!

Someone help me here: either the Swan or the Dolphin offers a character breakfast (weekends only maybe??) that doesn't accept reservations. I forget where I read it, but it might be worth considering.

How about Olivia's at Old Key West. They have really good food (B,L, or D), and you typically don't need an ADR. I'd bet that you can call now and get an ADR no problem. Also, in EPCOT, I've recently had good luck with Nine Dragons in the China Pavillion. The food was surprisingly good (had a not so good experience years ago), and last year we were able to walk in with a party of eight with no reservations during Spring Break in April.
