Which resort in September

I am starting to get our fall trip planned, and I'm trying to decide which resort to aim towards. We went to Disney World several times last year, 6 to be exact, so we aren't really going to spend a whole lot of time in the parks this time. My kids are young (7 and 4), so we will still spend one full day at MK. If DD has finally reached 48" we are going to have to go to MGM for RNRC, so 1 1/2 days at the most in the parks. The rest of the time we want to spend at the pool, resort activities, Pirate Cruise, etc.

Here's our choices and why:

WL - Location, atmosphere (kids love water activities)
AKL - Pool, never stayed there before, kids will like animals
CSR - Pool, playground
POFQ - I just LOVE this resort, kids love the pool, fishing at POR is one of our planned activities.
Dolphin/Swan - Pool

So, what's the consensus on this one?

I voted AKL. You could probably snag a decent discount for Sept since it is value season and the kids would love the animals at roaming on the savannah--be sure to get a savannah view room.

Your kids will love the main pool area. There is an arcade, playground, slide for the pool, great snacks at Siestas and the margaritas are good too. See pics at my CSR website below.

If you can get a savannah view room, I would stay at AKL. There's so much to do at the resort without the savannah view room, so I'd stay there either way, but with that view you would be entertained even just sitting in the room, looking at the animals.
