really? I have only stayed at the GF and OKW and must say the beds at either place were rather hard. Do they have special beds? like sleep by number or pillow top mattresses?

Anyone else have a recommendation?

Swan/Dolphin : ) awww they have the sleep number beds in them . We miss ours when we leave home but not enough to stay there again . NO offense but I didnt feel the magic when I was there. They did have a great Firefighter rate so for 79 bucks for concierge we stayed.

i just looked at some of the info on the swan and it does look comfy!!!! I am a radiologic technologist and wish they would have a discount for us!!! I work in a hospital and just as hard as any nurse out there!!! Its just a gripe that I have that anyone who works in a hospital gets called a nurse. Dont get me wrong I respect the nursing field, I work closely with them but just a gripe I have. (esp this late at night) but any civil worker or medical professional could get a discount would be great in my eyes.

But you guys are right it does sound comfy.

No Sleep No., but I thought the beds at ASMo were great in May 2007 (was on 3rd Floor Fantasia with the jack-in-box in front). I have a tempur-pedic-type bed and usually don't like anything else, but I was very comfortable.

The beds at the All Star Sports have you sinking right in the middle sorry.. bad joke..

I like the beds at Pop & Poly.. they aren't too hard, but not too soft either. It has been a long time since I stayed at the Swan so I really can't say what type they have now, but have heard they have nice ones...

The Polynesian has the Sealy pillowtop matresses. They are really soft too (a bit soft for me, I prefer a hard matress).

Swan and Dolphin!

The heavenly beds are ...well heavenly.

We ( DH and I) love them so much that we are going to buy the Heavenly bed and the ensemble for our master bedroom when we are through remodeling our mater bedroom later this year.

The Queen bed at the All Star Family Suites is a Sealy pillow top mattresses and is very confortable ( just not quite heavenly).
These (Sealy pillow top ) are the same mattresses that Disney is putting in their Deluxe resorts when they replace the older ones.

We stayed at the CR and BC a few weeks ago. The beds at the CR were pure heaven, top of the line super soft sheets, lots of pillows, the beds were very very comfy. The BC sheets felt like sandpaper and the beds were only OK. I think the beds at CR and Poly are probably the same since both resorts' rooms have just been renovated.

The beds at AKL are wonderful...absolutely wonderful ( but not the pull out single "chair sleeper" where you will have what felt like a 1/4 " mattress with a bar in your back ). The last several times we've stayed at Pop I felt like I was sleeping on a block of concrete and the ones at All Stars were "sagging". I heard they were replacing all the mattresses and pillows but I guess all the resorts don't have them yet. ---Kathy

Are the beds at any of the DVC (specifically OKW) upgraded mattresses?

I though YC concierge had the best. They were different than the regular rooms at the YC/BC. They were soooo comfortable. We liked them better than the new Poly and the Dolphin beds.

All Star Music and Sports have great soft beds, almost feels like your in a hammock. All that is missing is the sway back and forth.

I have to say, we stayed at WL in Dec. and the renovated rooms have the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in - in a hotel. It was wonderful!!!! I am hoping the beds in GF are just as wonderful!
