Which resort has the best transportation?

Just curious.

We are DVC members at BW and we discovered that they do not run buses anymore to Epcot or MGM. The used to have a bus route but no more. When the afternoon electrical storms blew in during our recent stay, the boats were sometimes stopped. I had to take a cab once to meet my family who were already at MGM.

Monorail resorts are great for MK. How are they for other parks?

Large moderate resorts have lengthy internal routes that take time but they don't share busses with other resorts. The Fort Wilderness Campground can take quite a lot of time to get to your home.

Swan, Dolphin, Yacht, Beach, and Boardwalk often share routes with each other and that adds travel time.

I really don't have an opinion but am curious about which resort has the best transportation.

Your post will support by opinion that no resort has good/great transportation to all of the parks. Overall we feel AKL give you good transportation to all of the parks as there is just one bus stop at the resort and then onto the park in question. No sharing with other resorts. So if I had to vote for the resort that has the most convienent transportation to the most parks it would be the AKL.

The monorail resorts are really only convienent to the MK. The EC resorts are great for EC and the ST but getting to the MK can be a hike and the moderates have multiple stops and or share with other resorts.

We pick our resort based on what parks we feel we are going to spend the most time at on a given trip.
