Which resort has the best 2 bedroom suites?

I would do BLT or AKV- Kidani for the the third bathroom with that many people. If BLT is too expensive I would go with Kidani.

You can also walk to DS from OKW. It is a long walk (especially from HH area) but doable if you like to walk like I do. Takes about 30 - 45 minutes depending on how fast you walk.
I forget to mention that, because I've never done it. Of course some people you tell about that would consider it a hike, vs a walk. :teeth:

Hi, trying to figure out where to book for our upcoming March 2022 trip.
We will be 8 people (maybe 9 if my mom joins us).
4 adults, 4 kids (4, 8, 11, 15 y.o)

We are looking at at standard two bedroom suite at Kidani (AKL) or OKW or SSS.
We will not have a car so will be relying on Disney Transportation.
Are any of these resorts better than the other: bigger rooms, more beds, nicer amenities?
If my mom does end up joining us on our trip, is there one room that accommodates 9 people?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, the pool at Kidani is under construction in March 2022 (though to April). We are going the same time (March 11-25)…our family of 5 plus my parents. AKL is one of our home resorts and I would have loved to have booked a two bedroom at Kidani, but my parents are more pool people than park people and I didn’t think they would like travelling back and forth to Jambo every day. 🙄 So we are staying in a 2 bedroom at Jambo instead. Not thrilled about the room layout, but my parents have never been to AKL so I’m trying to convince myself that they will enjoy the increased amenities/dining options at Jambo.

I was going to say this too. We would love to try Kidani and thought about it for our first DVC trip, but coming from Minnesota in March (same time as you), the pool is pretty essential (getting out of the snow!!).

We’ll, shoot. I own at AKV and have always stayed at Jambo but visited the Kidani pool. I still really love the resort and the advantage of Jambo is that the standard view is guaranteed to be a pool or savanna (people pen) view.

Oh good to know thanks for letting me know!

Never stumbled across that site before. Thanks for posting!

We are in need of 6 days in mid-Sep-2021 and there are no DVC studios available at all. Not sure why since it's supposed to be a slow month.
The WBC pricing looks about the same as a decent hotel room so this could be a good fall back if our wait list doesn't come thru. I assume you can't cancel so we would have to wait until the last minute to book. Any idea how good our chances would be?
September is 2 months away, while September is a slow month for DVC, DVC resorts are have around a 98% occupancy rate all year long (except during pandemic). September is slow to fill up, compared to other months, but with Covid and all the extra points out there members have been booking 11 months out. Rooms near the 50th were gone before 10 months.
