Which resort for add on stay ? AKL or WL????

We are staying at BWV for a week next year in May and just decided that we would like two more days. I have Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge in mind because. We have not stayed at either of them and will add on two days on the end of our trip. Which one would you chose and if Animal Kingdom Lodge would you stay at Jumbo or Kidani ?

If go with ANimal kingdom. Never been to either, want to go to both. But I've heard lots of varying opinions on animal kingdom lodge so it'd be nice to try it out for only a couple of days before commiting to a longer reservation.

I haven't stayed at either yet but did visit the AKL back in 2009 and planning on staying at WL next year.

For the 2 days that you are adding, are you planning on going to the parks either day? If you are not planning on going to the parks, I would get an AKL Savannah view room. If you are going to MK one of those 2 days, WL would be perfect.

Really, you can't wrong with either resort.

I would go with the WL. I like splitting a stay between an Epcot area hotel and a MK area hotel. Nice transportation options.

I've stayed at both, and I love them both. You probably will too. If you were planning on going to MK on either of the days you are staying there, I would choose Wilderness Lodge. If not, I would choose Animal Kingdom.

We've stayed at both and love both for different reasons. WL is very convenient to MK, but we thought the buses at AKL were fine. The same architect designed both resorts and both are beautiful. With that said, you really can't go wrong with either one as they are both great places to stay. Good luck.

I would go with AKL, I have stayed at both Kidani and Jambo and prefer Kidani (1 bdrm villas have 2 bathrooms and the pool is better).

I don't mind the busses at AKL, though the ride can be slightly longer, as they ONLY stop at AKL...the Wilderness busses often make multiple resort stops...from Epcot HS and AK.
