I apologize in advance for what I'm sure is an old question but I've never needed the answer before and I can't find anything when I search.

Which resorts will allow 5 people in a room? I'm planning a monster trip for 20 and two families going need a room for 5. Is this possible?

Please don't suggest off-site. We're looking into that but want to what our on site options are.

Thanks-

POR I know for sure as far as the Mod's because we stayed here last year.

There were two queen sized beds plus a trundle bed that pulls out.

Don't know about the Deluxes although I *think* they all do? I'm sure many will be able to clarify this answer.

i know during my recent searches, the only ones we can't fit into are AK and WL but we have 5 PLUS an infant.

Good luck in your crazy planning!:wizard:

Many, though not all, of the Deluxes do: 2 Queens and a Daybed. (Wilderness Lodge is one exception; there may be others.) The 5 of us are going to stay at the Contemporary next August.

On the Value level, you can get a Family Suite at All Star Music. (That was my plan until I decided that I wanted the location of the Contemporary.) In the other Values, you can try for adjoining rooms.

There's an active new thread on this same subject --check it out. It's Family of 5 - separate sleeping - which resort? The short answer to your question is ASM suites, Port Orleans trundle bed rooms, some rooms in deluxe resorts, and DVC villas can accomodate two parents and three children. Although if one child is under three, the family can stay in any 4 person room. Check out the answers on the other thread for details.

the moderates have double beds (not queen ones)

deluxes have queen beds

ASMu suites has one queen bed - then those cute chair beds.

Fort Wilderness Cabins. :)

Bedroom with adult (queen?) bed and one set of bunk beds.

Murphy bed in main room.

The Family Suites sleep up to 6 persons.
There is a QUEEN size bed in the master bedroom area.
The living -sleeping area has a sofa that pullout into a double bed and a chair and ottoman that each foldout into a twin size bed,

DH and I stayed in a Family Suite at All Star Music ( a value resort) lin Sept. of 2006.

We really enjoyed the Queen size bed, the kitchenette with the microwave, having a sofa and cushioned chair to sit on and relax after a day at the parks before retiring for the evening.

I thought the pullouts very comfortable.

They are designed so the back cushion and seat cushion of the pullout support the pullout. There is no metal bar to hurt the sleepers back.

Have fun at Disney wherever you choose to stay!:wizard:

Y&BC, CR, Poly, and GF have 2 queen size beds and a day bed.

POR AB section has 2 double beds and a trundle.

ASMusic has the family suites and FW cabins will accommodate a family of 5.

Definately go to OKW. It was the first Disney Vacation club resort to open. What does this mean....that they went all out on them...including space. There rooms are the largest of any of the Disney resports.
