Which resort allows a cot or a place for a fifth person to sleep. Trying to plan a trip in april with 3 children age 15, 13, and 10.

If you want to save money, you can a get a trundle bed at Dixie Landings (I think its French Quarters now) but its not for a very big person.

Would a 10 year old by fit?

The day bed at the Poly sleeps an adult size person. My 17yo ds slept in it the last time we stayed there. Also being on the monorail is great for the kids to have a little independence.

10 year old, most likely if ave size should be fine, but the extra money for the Poly would be nicer-never stayed there but I assume its much nicer. Either way, on site starts 5 in a room at French Quarters and goes up from there.

The trundles are at PO-Riverside. I'm pretty sure Polynesian, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Grand Floridian, and the Yacht Club Beach Club have the day beds (twin size mattress) in a standard room. Also, the cabins at Fort Wilderness sleep six and give you a full kitchen.

How about two connecting rooms at whatever resort you can afford? We are a family of five with teenagers who love having the two rooms to spread out and most importantly, two bathrooms!!!! They will guarantee the connecting rooms if the children are minors.

Personally, with children of those ages, I would choose a Garden Wing Room at the Contemporary. The rooms are HUGE! There are 2 queen sized beds and a day bed already in the room. The bathroom is also HUGE, and one person can use the toilet and sink, while another is showering and using the double sinks. It is a great layout.

Also, considering your kids' ages, they will LOVE the game room downstairs... the pools are nice, and there is a slide in one of them. MK is also within easy walking distance. There are water craft to rent from the Marina, as well.

I would definitely consider the Contemporary!!!

The Garden Wing rooms at the Contemporary are great! Two queen beds and a daybed/twin. It worked well for my sister's family. The pools are such fun and of course you are so close to the MK. My nephews LOVED staying in the "place that the monorail drives through."

One of the occupants has to be 9 or under to qualify for 5 in a room at PO-R, so that is out.

If the kids are at all into pools, I would recommend Yacht or Beach Club. The rooms have two queen beds and a daybed big enough for an adult. And, of course, the best pool of any Disney resort and a fantastic location near two parks. Your other options are a standard room at any of the deluxes except AKL and WL, a junior suite at AKL or WL, a Fort Wilderness cabin, a DVC resort (big bucks unless you rent points) or two rooms at All Stars or a moderate.
