Which resort- CSR or CB??

Trying to decide between CSR and CB. I would like to know which is more spread out? Also, is the rehab still going on at the CB? If so, when will it be finished? Thanks for the help.

We have never stayed at the CB and have stayed at the CSR six times (soon to be seven). The pool at the CB is scheduled to be completed September 15. The CSR will start rehabbing rooms October 1. They are both spread out. We don't mind at the CSR because of the beautiful landscaping. My DH and I enjoy walking around the lake at night when the sun has set and the lights are on among all the buildings with the beautfiul fountains, etc. The CSR also has a fitness center/spa if this is something you are interested in. I am sure whichever you decide on, you will be happy.

I love them both and from my standpoint, you cannot make a bad choice! CBR is my favorite moderate, I love the Caribbean theme, the different villages, love having the food court next to the main pool and the rooms are just a tad bigger. I didn't find one more spread out than the other. CSR has golf carts that circulate to take you around and CBR has a very reliable internal bus system. But honestly, neither resort for me felt too big to naviagate. And given the beauty of both resorts and their lakes and landscaping, its not torture to walk a bit as long as you don't have mobility issues or small children with no strollers. One nice thing about CBR, its the only moderate with preferred location (not to be confused with the preferred views it and other mods have). That way you can be assured to be near the main areas.

If a main pool with a large slide and hottub is very important to you, and your dates fall before the pool rehab is set to be done, I would say definitely go with CSR. It has a fantastic pool. However, the quiet pools at CBR are wonderful (the nicest I have seen at any mod) and two of them have smaller scale slides during this pool rehab. I loved the quiet pools at CBR and in fact, we didnt' use the main pool as much as I would have thought we might have.

I like that at CBR you can see Illuminations from around the resort and agree with KatMark that CSR is very lovely at night as well.

CSR! Newer resort with more amenities, a great pool and some of the best transportation we experienced at any mod.

We prefer CSR over CB for several reasons. Bus service is great, landscaping in beautiful, Pepper Market has a great variety and good food, the pool and slide are great. We're planning our 3rd and 4th trip to CSR!!!

Yes but at least neither share transportation like POR/POFQ.

My family and I stayed at CBR last summer and we would choose not to stay there again. It was just way too big and spread out for us. This was our first time at a moderate and would choose POP over CBR any day.

I think it is six of one, half a dozen of the other. Pick the theme you like and go with that!

I will say that I find CSR to be more relaxing and prettier, but CBR has much cuter rooms and loads of palm trees and Florida-y landscaping and just has a happier overall feel.

I've done both, bounced around between the two, and honestly couldn't say one was better than the other.

I don't take public transportation, though, and leave that to the transportation experts.

We definately prefer CSR over CB. The bus service has always been great and even though there's only one sink, its never been a problem. We just love the atmoshere there.

They are both big, spread out resorts. I like them both equally well.

We prefer CBR over CSR. While I personally like both about the same, my DH said he never wanted to return to CSR. He didn't like the golf carts nearly running us off the paths. The bar was over-crowded with business people. So was the pool.And we had the worst bus experience at CSR. We both found CBR to be a much more relaxing atmosphere.

I would choose CBR. While we enjoyed both resorts, we just enjoyed the theming at CBR much more - very tropical and beautiful! Also liked CBR's food court better.

You can't go wrong, though, both are great resorts!

I would choose CSR! A fantastic pool/slide combo, great transportation and many food options to choose from. THe Pepper Market is heads above any regular food court.
