Which resort CS restaurants should we check out?

We will be going to Disney World in less than 2 weeks. We have 2 free days. Which counter service resaurants should be check out at the different resorts? We love to look at the different resorts on property. We are staying at the Poly and the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge. We stayed at the Pop Century hotel last September and really enjoyed the food court there (more specifically the tye dye cheesecake!).

Which hotels are neat to see and have decent food? Thanks for any suggestions.

We try to get back to Pop to eat--love that parmesan crusted chicken!

Coronado Springs is worth a visit, especially toward the evening. The Pepper Market is not bad and a walk around Lago Dorado at sunset is so beautiful! It's a nice resort just to see. Nice pool too if you're a DVC member.

AKL is worth a visit. Beautiful building and savannah overlooks. We liked The Mara. The falafel pita and chicken flatbread were both very tasty and nice change from burgers and chicken fingers.

The Boardwalk Bakery is a lovely place to have breakfast. Their bagels are very tasty and it's so nice to sit at an outdoor table and watch Crescent Lake wake up.

We like the Beignets at the POFQ and the Wraps and Gelato at the BC.

We too liked the FC at POFQ, in fact, when we were there a few weeks ago, we stopped there twice for lunch. We love the grounds at POFQ (main reason why we decided to stay there on our next trip , I am also very excited about trying the beignets). Also we really enjoyed the FC at CSR too....they have really good quesadillas.

We love Captain Cook's at The Poly. We love this resort and always head to check it out. We did breakfast at Captain Cook's this past May on a Saturday and they have Tonga Toast. Maybe it is not exactially the same as the Tonga Toast at Kona's but it was great.

Less expensive and less to eat. I am pretty sure you could get the ham, bacon or sausage on the side if you want it also. We always do not want so much to eat and you cannot always get reservations at Kona's. We were able to sit outside and had a great time.

Capt Cooks is awesome, we really enjoyed Gasparilla Grill at the GF, the POFQ has great taco salads and Roaring Forks had the most delish pecan cinnamon buns

I would highly recommend the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary.

The Mara at AKL had great offerings. Everything was delicious! Zebra domes were a nice treat as well...

We tried the Contempo Cafe for the first time this last trip and really enjoyed it (ended up going back on our last day for our final CS lunch!). They have an excellent chicken caesar salad and by husband enjoyed their burger (its on an actual big multigrain bun not like the ones you get in the parks).

I have to recommend Roaring Fork at WL for their Roast Beef and Blue Cheese sandwich and their cupcakes too! Omgosh the cupcakes are so good and one of my very favorite snack credits!!

The Mara at AKL is worth a visit. I crave their chicken pita sandwich.

I'd skip POFQ. My dad went over there this weekend and part of it was closed and he actually took one bite of the beignets and threw away the rest. He said they were greasy and awful which is sad b/c we're originally from New Orleans and he was looking forward to it.

Stayed at POR over the weekend and the food wasn't that great. Nothing special that jumps out.

Like the contempo cafe, hate Pepper Market at CSR but how about Gasparillas Grill at the GF.

Lovely for a midday/early evening break, over by boat for us, eat outside with a superb view of the castle at MK. Really love their jerk chicken wraps with slaw.

CSR has a wide variety of food options. It can add up quickly and don't forget the 10% gratuity added to your bill. I also agree with Port Orleans. The Riverside and French Quarter have different options.

We really like Gasparilla's Grill @ the GF. I think I could eat their grilled southwest chicken breast sandwich every day and not get sick of it. Plus, you can't beat sitting outside and looking at Cinderella's Castle, watching the monorails and the boats in the marina.

That is my favorite thing to order off their menu.

I love that salad and I always order it with the dressing on it. Also I personally don't like the bun used for the burgers.
