Our return flight is not until 3:00 PM, so we will have to catch ME at about noon. I would like to surprise DD(12) with a character breakfast before we leave. We have tried Chef Mickeys and didn't care for it. We are staying at the Contemporary so I was thinking of 1900 Park Fare or Ohana, which is better? Thanks for your help.

1900 PF was ick...we liked CM alot but Ohana was awesome, we had a great meal and time there and you can get pressed pot coffee from Kona at Ohana

We really enjoyed 1900 PF! We've gone there for the character dinner many times and always had fun. On our most recent trip (September) we tried out breakfast for the first time. It was great. The characters were so much fun and the food was good too.

We've never tried Ohanas

Ohana breakfast is one of our favorites. The food is served family style & is pretty good: mickey waffles, sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits, warm brkfst breads, etc. The characters are Mickey, Pluto, Lilo & Stitch - both Stitch & Pluto are quite a riot!

I LOVE 1900 Park Fare! The characters include Pooh, Tigger, Alice, Mad Hatter, and Mary Poppins. My favourite part of the dining experience is the make-your-own-omlette station. They also have a wide array of things to try, including a lobster eggs benedict and famous strawberry soup. Also, EDIBLE BACON! I've been to the Ohana breakfast and was not impressed. More "standard" characters (Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, Stitch) and in my opinion not very good food.

I would go with 1900 Park Fare for sure!

I love Goofy's Breakfast Beach Blast at Cape May..it's one of my favorites. But, it can be time consuming to get to and from if leaving that day. We normally stay at BWV so it's traditionally our last breakfast in WDW.

If I had to choose one that was closer to CR, I think I would go with 1900 Park Fare...simply because of the characters there...kind of girly and a nice way to end your visit.
I've never tried the breakfast at 'Ohana...may book it for our summer trip since I need a last day breakfast as well and will be at BLT.

We have eaten at both 1900 PF and 'Ohana. While we enjoyed 1900 PF, 'Ohana is our family favorite! The food is served family style, so you aren't making trips to the buffet. We find the atmosphere to be more laid back. My kids love the juice. The character interaction has always been great (of course we are huge Lilo and Stitch fans!).

Cape May & Ohana are our Favortie Char Breakfasts. Go about 10:30 to Cape May & you will have a great meal & the most relaxing Char Brakfast we have been to. Ohana is a blast but we like the food better at Cape May.

We really enjoy 1900 Park Fare (for breakfast and dinner) but have to say our favorite is hands down Cape May at the Beach Club. Its more low key, not as big and the food is always outstanding.

I also enjoy O'Hana, but prefer a buffet for the wider selection.

I've done them all, most many times, but Cape May is our number one choice. And a later ADR is always a sure bet, we love to do that, we often have the place almost to ourselves if we go after 10:00.

We love the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at O'Hana. The food and service were amazing. We did four character breakfasts last year and this was our favourite. I even bought the boys "Stitch" t-shirts to wear when we go this year.

I think you'll really enjoy this meal.

We really enjoy Ohana and Cape May...

Ohana is a nice change of pace from the buffet character meal...The pinapple bread and fresh fruit is so yummy...We love that they bring more of what ever you enjoy most...The view is amazing...The characters are lots of fun and spend a great deal of time at the tables...

Cape May has a large buffet and the food is good...The atmosphere is quiet and calm for a character meal...The characters are adorable in their beach clothes...

We did not really like 1900 and do not plan on going back any time soon.

Cape May had really good food. Character interaction was great - they came around 3 times!!!!

The food at 'Ohana was just....ehh, not bad, not good. But the atmosphere and setting was fun. Pluto was absolutely fantastic....crawling around on the floor and poking his nose in my camera, begging for food...:rotfl:

If you could go to a park, since you're staying at the CR, it would be easy to pop in to the MK to go the Crystal Palace. They have the best food of 3 character breakfasts I've been to recently.

Ohana!! Ohana is our favorite restaurant. We went for breakfast last trip and it was great. It's served family style so you have all you can eat but you don't have to keep getting up to get more food. Therefore you can relax and eat. And you don't miss the characters! They make there rounds to your table.

Food wise----I think Crystal Palace is the BEST!!!

I did not care for Cape May Cafe or O'Hana....they were not bad...but prefer Crystal Palace!

Since you're staying at CR, I'd do Ohana. We loved this breakfast. We love Stitch. It's such a great atmosphere and the food was yummy and served family style. We didn't have to get up..they just kept bringing more. :rotfl: I think it would be a great way to end your trip! :goodvibes

Definitely Ohana if you want to go to a resort. We love Tusker House otherwise! The food and character interaction is awesome:thumbsup2

My vote is for Ohana. We loved the food and the character interaction was great my two boys 11&7 at the time (last Aug) loved it. Also Crystal Palace breakfast was a big hit. Enjoy.:cool1:

We never miss breakfast at 1900 Parkfare. We love the setting, the characters and the food. We practically had it to ourselves during the last seating this past Christmas.:wizard: Cape May is really calm and the food is good too plus we love Beach Club. Chef Mickeys has a lot of food but for me it is just to hectic.

I am sticking to your choices of 'Ohana and 1900 PF. We love the characters at 1900 PF and like the food. But, if it's Mickey you want to say good-bye to, then 'Ohana is fine, food isn't exciting at all but ok. Be aware that we attempted the meal-before-we-leave at 'Ohana a couple years ago and, after waiting an hour, we had to leave without eating there. They always seem to be disorganized and over-booked.
