We are staying 4 nights at Loew's Royal Pacific and doing 2-3 days Park to Park tickets. I know there is the Coke Freestyle mugs or the regular refillable mugs. Which is a better deal? Is there a place to refill at our resort also? Thanks

free style mugs have a daily charge.

regular mugs you buy can be brought back and used for the discounted refill price

came back to add that at the deluxe hotels, they do not have soda stations.
Cbay has a set up but check the website for info on that on how it is done.
(think you can buy so many days to use the refill program)

Orlando Informer have a great page on the mugs http://orlandoinformer.com/page/art...vacation-tips/refillable-cups-popcorn-buckets

But basically Coke Freestyle is $12.99 (plus tax) for the first day and then $5.99 to reactivate each following day. It allows self-serve refills of many many different flavours at a few locations (see http://orlandoinformer.com/page/art...ion-tips/refillable-cups-popcorn-buckets?pg=2).
Or get a refill cup for $8.99 and then pay 99c for a refill at almost anywhere they serve fountain soda.

Of course Coke Freestyle is more fun as you have the option of drinking vanilla Sprite (don't its nasty) or orange coke or whatever combo you want.
But you would need to get six refills a day to make it cheaper than the traditional refill mug.

Also I don't know how up to date the prices are on OI, but for comparing cups this should be OK!

We use the red cups but have had them for many years. Not very helpful to OP but, I can't stand the freestyle machines. I like to get coke when I go to the movies and now that they have freestyle machines it never tastes right. I don't want a lime taste to my regular coke.

If you want the regular refill mug then the souvenir ones can also be used for the $1 refills. The minion DD got was $17 inc tax then we used him for the $1 refills.

We got the Freestyle cups last month. I thought they were great. You save money if you buy multiple cups. 2 freestyle cups were $23.98+tax. The extra day refills were just $5.99. it was great being able to use them at quick service lunches. I have some pictures of the cups and machines near the start of my trip report.

We got the Freestyle last month and used it exclusively for Powerade Zero. Since it was so hot we refilled it constantly. I did only buy one though and we shared because I also carried a Brita bottle. Freestyle can also be brought back on future trip and just pay the daily fee.

We bought Freestyle cups at the beginning of August and as we bought 4 of them they were $9.99 + tax each (over 3 they were this price) and then it doesn't matter how many you have the next day they all cost $5.99 + tax for the days use.

We found that as we were there when it was supper hot, we got more than our money's worth out of them on both days we were there. If I was going at another time of the year when it wasn't super hot then I might have gone with the regular refillable cup.

There were plenty of Freestyle machines and the lines at them were not too bad. I would say that at certain times of the day the machines would be run out of ice or the added flavours but this only happened a couple of times and when we were at IOA until the very, very end of the day they had a Freestyle machine up and working so we could get a drink as we walked out whereas all the other vendors were closed and gone for the day.

The Freestyle options of drink were great with lemonades, PowerAde, flavoured waters as well as the usual Coke, Diet coke etc. gave us all a multitude of selections with the benefit of not always having to have fizzy drinks.

Just back from the parks yesterday and I have to say, I did not see the red refillable cups anywhere. I saw the character shaped refillable cups but not the red ones. The freestyle mugs were everywhere, including being sold at carts where there were noFreestyle machines.

Where do you go to have the freestyle cup activated for the other days that you use it?
