Which Rainforest Cafe? DTD or AK?

DW and I have always enjoyed going to the RFC, and have never had a problem with the food and service as others have. On our next trip, we plan on taking our family and friends. At the current moment, it will be all adults and no kids (this could possibly change). We have only been to the RFC at Animal Kingdom. We have never gone to the one at DTD. We thought about possibly going to the DTD location for a change. For those that have been to both locations, which location do you prefer most?

RFC in DTD may be less busy for lunch than AK.
Dinner will be busy at both.

You can make an ADR for either location in AK or DTD.

Also - if you have a Safari card (from Landry's) - I think you get a free appetizer and also priority seating. :thumbsup2

Enjoy !

I am a huge RFC fan. I love the China Island Chicken Salad!!!!! I also am a Safari Club member so really like the free appetizer every time (that is a better deal than the 10% for us).
The restaurants aren't really that different. I think the theming is a little better at DTD, but not much. I have had great service at both locations every time we go.
We usually ate at the AK RFC because of the limited dining options at AK. I took the kids to Yak and Yeti last summer and now they want to go again this summer. It was their favorite meal of the trip. So we will be going to the DTD RFC on one of our DisneyQuest days. We will also be going to T-Rex. The food is a little pricey (although decent), the restaurant is pretty loud, but the dinosaur theming is pretty cool. They are also Landry owned. Maybe you could check it out for something new.

The food is equally poor at each, walk thru to look but pass on lunch.

DW and I usually share a pizza, that way we can have the Volcano for dessert. We are typically fond of their cocktails there. Yumm! :drinking1 T-Rex is definitely on our plans as well. We were just wondering if the DTD location was any different, than the AK location. If it's less busy and easier to get into? Bigger or smaller? As I stated, we've never had problems when we've gone there as I know others have. And we've always enjoyed the food. Until we experience something bad for ourselves, we'll continue to go.

How do you get a Safari Card?

Yes, how does one go about getting this card. Free appetizer sounds good. Since we possibly have a large group going, even the 10% would be helpful. We visit the RFC in Las Vegas quite often as well. So this would come in handy for us.
