I have some free nights at Radisson---My question is which Radisson? The Radisson Hotel Orlando (at Universal), the Radisson Inn LBV or the Radisson Resort Pkway? If you've been to any of these, which one and what did you like or not like about them? Visited or stayed at more than one? Which did you like more? It would be DH, me, DS (6) and DD (3 1/2). TIA!

The Radisson at Universal was a very nice hotel with wonderful floor to ceiling views from their rooms.......but I felt very uncomfortable walking from the pool through the lobby in my flip flops and beach coverup as it really seemed to be a convention hotel whose main clientele (when we were there a month ago) were business people.

Please check out my thread on this board called "Just back from Radisson Resort Parkway-Any Questions" and you will learn alot about this resort. This Radisson, which is super close to Disney, was just completely remodeled and is very, very, nice. Very "resort-like". The pool area and landscaping are fabulous. It depends on which parks you are planning to visit. As I said, the proximity to Disney makes the Radisson Resort Parkway the clear winner but it would be quite a little trek up to Universal. So if you are going to spend most your time in the Universal/Seaworld area then maybe one of the other Radissons would be better. You can't go wrong staying at Radisson resort Parkway...its a beautiful resort for a great price!!

If we go to US, it will just be for one day most likely so I think we will stay where you stayed. Thanks.

I'm starting to get very interested in this hotel. There seem to be very few negative reviews of it. Pug Mom, do any of the rooms have private balconies? And if not do all the rooms have that whole wall window like they show on their website do you know? I tend to get a closed-in feeling in hotel rooms that only offer a port hole sized window. Also would you know if any of the restaurants there are open late? This would be important to us because we always seem to arrive back at our lodging quite late in the evening. Thanks.

We stayed at Radisson Parkway this past March. I would not call it "resort-like" but it was a nice place. The pools were great and they have a take-out window for food by the pool with a Pizza Hut in the hotel. The daily breakfast buffet (kids eat free) was very good with made-to-order omeletes and and many hot dishes. Can't remember the hours of the places.
