Will anything new be open at DHS by then? Any Avatar related new things at DAK? Rivers of Light?

Only what is there now. Launch Bay for Star Wars and the new track on TSMM has been open. Otherwise those are in large construction zones and they won't open until it's all done.

Thank you. My parents are heading to WDW in December & they are trying to decide whether to skip DHS. They are in their 70's. They love TSM, but other than that, most of their favorite DHS attractions are now gone....

Well, it would be a great trip to spend more time at another park or utilize hopper.

The Star Wars fireworks are one of Disney's better ones and the new version has started. The things that are gone/closed are Lights Motor Action, Streets of America, Playground, Backlot Tour, Animation Academy and Jack Sparrow. The rest is still there.
