Which princesses meet at the Royal Hall?

Is it more expensive than Ariel's Grotto?

So sad AG closed :( I really liked the theming of the restaurant, it was really well done. And I have seen photos of Mulan appearing there, as well as Rapunzel and Tiana (in WDW its usually Ariel, Aurora, and Snow at both of the princess meals, with Cindy and Jasmine at CRT and Cindy and Belle at Akershus; no Rapunzel, Tiana, or Pocahontas, but Mulan sometimes appears at Akershus)

But they really need a princess character meal for all 3 meals. The character meals at WDW are much better honestly, now that AG is gone.

It’s $125 per person regardless of age, not including tax and tip. I calculated that for our family to go, it would come in at about $600.

I agree that character meals at WDW are much better. For a family of 4 to spend $600 to have breakfast with the princesses is RIDICULOUS.

Was AG cheaper? Cus I'd rather not spend that much for a meal, I'd rather just go and see the princesses at Royal Hall.

AG was just the price of a regular character breakfast - $39/adult and then whatever a kid was.

Generally when we've been there, royal hall has been cinderella, Snow White, and then a variable one (which is usually Ariel.) Aurora meets at the wishing well, belle and rapunzel usually meet outside of the royal hall.

Yeah seeing the price of Napa Rose, doing the Royal Hall is much more convenient.

@Akoni
Ummmm yes. To put it in perspective, eating dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table at WDW is much cheaper. $125 per person is an astronomical amount of money to spend on a meal. I’m saving money to take my four year old once.... she’s never had a character meal with the princesses. Her big sister has been to CRT and Akershus multiple times, but we live in California now and won’t be at WDW for awhile. If we make it through this COVID crisis without a job loss or pay cut, we are going to do the GCH breakfast ONCE.

For sure - if you look on the app the day before, you can get a really good idea of where each princess will be and when, and plan a route to knock out as many as you want. One day a couple years ago, with my 4 year old daughter, we started at 9am and went to about 11:30, and met cinderella, Ariel, aurora, Tiana, jasmine, belle, rapunzel and Snow White, and then went to DCA later that day for Elsa and Anna. A couple of those were back to back in the same line - get there at 9:00 for a 9:15 start, and then after the line built up get back in line for the princess switch so by the time you're at the front again a new princess was there.

Which princesses tend to be the most popular? (other than Anna and Elsa)

Hmmmm that's a tough one. Maybe the classic ones since the lines at royal hall are always long? But it depends on what is happening. If Pocahontas, Merida, or Mulan are out, there's going to be a big crowd or line. They don't come out very often. And last year when Aladdin remake was out, there were long lines for Jasmine.

I'd say probably Rapunzel because she normally meets with Flynn, and that duo interaction is really special. I've seen her line closed a lot of times before the meets even started.

The lines at Royal Hall are probably always long because you get to meet three princesses in one go.

OK OK...
In the last few months the Princess meet and greets have been:

Wishing Well: Aurora and Jasmine usually with Aladdin, meet at the Wishing Well starting with Aurora at park opening. Then switch off about every 45 minutes until a half hour before the parade.

Royal Hall:
Normal lineup is Snow White, Ariel, and Cinderella. There are two paths inside and if they a full staff they will be on both sides at the same time. If they do not have a full staff of the Big Three, they will add another Princess on one or both sides (The sign will remove missing Princess(es) and show Royal Friend instead). The Royal Friend can be ANY Princess depending on how busy the park is and weather. Normally it will be Elena, Aurora, Belle, Tiana, Merida, Rapunzel Moana, Mulan, Pocahontas, etc. [Never Anna or Elsa, who are in the Animation Bldg. In DCA all day]. Hint; If the sign shows Royal Friend and there is a specific Princess you want to meet, tell the Cast Member at the end of line, and if she is in there they will direct you to the correct of the two paths. VERY rare there has been Princess Minnie or Meg.

Fantasy Faire Courtyard:
Starting in early morning if it is not raining, they will meet guests with Rapunzel with Flynn alternating with Elena. Then when the afternoon Rapunzel show begins Belle who was in the morning Royal theater show will meet in her blue village outfit. Other Princess and Characters will also meet in the Courtyard depending on many factors. You will often find Gaston wandering in the Fantasy Faire.

Royal Theater:
In the morning the have done a Beauty and the Beast show.
After the first two shows Belle comes out the her yellow ball gown and meets with those who do not leave. [They do not advertise this as everyone would stay.]
Afternoon is the Tangled show.
Again, after the first two shows Rapunzel and Flynn also meet. But not the last show.

Carousel:
During the afternoon, Mary Poppins and or a band will ride the Carousel. Often about 1:30 Belle in the Blue Dress and the Beast will ride. Sometimes Belle has ridden the Carousel and magically been meeting guests at the Fantasy Fair at the SAME time.

Disneyland Entrance: Depending how busy the park is and if they are overstaffed or slow at the Fantasy Faire Princess will meet at the front entrances at the trees just past the turnstiles.

Plaza near Small World:
Nearly any Character can be at the Plaza during the middle of the day.

Story: I have a friend who’s daughter got to be a Character Performer. However she was too short (4'11") to be a princess. She got stuck being friends with Stitch and Mickey at the Visa meet in DCA.
Her BEST DAY EVER was the Sunday they sent her over to Disneyland to be friends with Princess Minnie the Royal Hall....... Her other Bucket List character, which will never happen, is Princess Vanellope Von Sweetz.

One of the highlights of our trip on 3/5 was seeing Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother together at the Disneyland entrance. I absolutely LOVE the fairy godmother, as she always makes it a point to speak with me. Mom needs love too! Ha! That’s another reason I love Mary Poppins.... she always speaks with me!
