I am really hoping to get CRT, but who knows if I will. My DD's (ages 5 and 7) are nuts about the Princesses. Play dress up practically everyday. How is the ambiance and food at both. I would love to hear comparisons.

I don't have any personal experience with either one but I selected Akershus Princess Storybook Breakfast for us. It's cheaper for one (it's also included in the dining package) and it's also in a castle (granted, not as spectacular as Cinderella's). You don't have to pre-pay for it either like CRT requires. I'm sure others will have first-hand experiences to provide you with though.

There are several threads roaming around that talk about CRT's poor expense to experience ratio, i.e., you don't get your money's worth there anymore. Can't personally speak to that issue. But, I will say that the PSB does give you more bang for your buck in terms of princesses. We've been three times and had four, five, and five princesses, respectively. The cast varies and there are no guarantees, but usually you will get at least three of the following: Snow White, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Mulan, and Mary Poppins. On our last trip just a month ago, we were greeted by Belle in her ball gown as we entered Akershus. The princesses who came to the table were Snow, Aurora, Jasmine, and Mary P. We always grab an 8:30 ADR (it's the first seating) so that the food is fresh, warm, and the servers and princesses haven't had time to get tired. ;) No, PSB doesn't have Cindy or her castle, but the price is cheaper, the princesses more plentiful, and the ADR easier to come by. If you want Cinderella, there are other ways to catch her.

CRT was great for us. It's nice to see the inside of the castle. I've planned Restaurant Akershus this year, I can't wait to see how it is. I didn't want to have to pre pay for CRT.

I have only been to CRT but I loved it. A lot of princesses were there when we went and it was so cool to actually be inside the castle! We were sort of near the window so we could see Fantasy Land and it was really cool.

Oh and if you eat there, you should make your reservation for before the park opens, that way you can walk down Main Street and its not crowded at all (its the perfect time to take some pictures in front of the castle!). And if you finish eating before the park opens you can be the first ones in Fantasy Land and if you do that you could have your little girls "Wake Up Tinkerbelle" (If you havent done it before just go into the store called Tinkerbelle's Treasures in Fantasy Land and ask the person at the desk if you can wake up Tinkerbelle)!:tinker:

Hope this helped :)
