Which Poly LongHouse?

My DW and I are so excited about our first trip to the Poly! I've stayed at CBR, ASMu and WL. This will be our first trip on the Monorail.

Poly Experts: Which is the best Polynesian Longhouse to stay at that is close to the main building, but not too far away from the TTC? Which is the worst?

Our favorite is Tahiti w/lagoon view. It is one of the newer buildings. Perfect views of the MK. You can watch the fireworks and the electrical water pagent from your balcony. The beach is pretty quiet on this end. It's also close to the TTC.

It is one of the farther from the Great Ceremonial House, but the walk is not as far as it looks on the map.

If you're doing lagoon view, I agree Tahiti. It does have the longest walk to GCH but probably 5 minutes at most.

If garden vew, Tokelau might fit your requests well. It is in the middle of the eastern cluster of buildings so not too far from TTC. Rapa Nui and Tahiti are closer to the TTC but a little further from the GCH.

If being VERY close to the GCH is important, then Samoa or Raratonga (if it's open yet) would be good. Niue is very close too but I think it is smoking...not sure.

None of the buildings are that far apart really.

Raratonga and Rapa Nui do have one side that faces the parking lots so if you request those buildings, you might want to ask not to face parking.

We loved our stay in Tokelau. It was only a few minutes to the GCH, boat dock, bus stop, and the Volcano pool. It was steps to the quiet pool and the beach. It was about five minutes to the TTC. We thought it was the perfect location.

We have ressies for Garden View. I requested Raratonga, because its right next to the GCH. Do you think the Tokeleau is better?
