I am so stressed, please help me make a decision. We are inviting 13 Kids... ALL family members on both sides and I cannot invite 1 side without inviting the other side.

9 Toddlers

4 Tweens and Teens Ages 9-16

Help!

Okay I know I am going to get flamed for this but I am not a fan of CC. I have more than 1 child under the age of 4 and it is a nightmare trying to keep everyone together so I can watch them at CC. Now let me say that my kids are good kids and know that if we are anywhere like a playground etc. that we have to stay together- but- CC makes that next to impossible. They have these overhead climbing tubes that you can't see into to make sure your child is okay and you certainly can't get up into them if they need help. We have been to a few parties at CC and to be honest it didn't feel like a birthday party at all. It was so crowded and the kids came to the table to eat a quick slice of pizza and cake and then went their separate ways. It wan't like they had a fun party with their friends. It was more like we took them to CC for the day. So I would have to say that I would pick the other place only because it has a private party room, but personally I would look for somewhere else all together. Maybe you can find a kid's party place that only does one party at a time. we have a bunch where I live that's why I suggested it. For me- I just think it's nice to really celebrate with the people who come to the party not the other patrons of a place especially when it costs the same. JMHO. I am sure that it will be great no matter what you chose. This has just been my experience. princess:

I actually agree with you. I couldn't pinpont what it was that made me have reservations for *Either* place and it boils down to it felt like *I* am paying to have someone else's kid(s) enjoy themselves on MY dime.

I should know better...I've been to enough CEC parties to know that the Birthday Kid (depending on how young they are) wouldn't even know what guests arrived and didn't.

I guess I am so got desperate to suggest CEC. At any rate, we can still just have a family day out at either place.

I like the DixieLand Park! I wish it was closer. I agree with the other posters about Chuck E. Cheese. It's too spread out!

Have fun and don't stress! :sunny:
