Help! We are going to WDW from May 8-13 (unless I can get DH to go for one more day, lol). We are going to get the DxDDP (I think...haven't priced it out yet, but I think it would make it a lot easier for us). Below are the restaurants that we want to eat at. I haven't made ADR's nor have I checked to see what is available yet (haven't yet booked the vacation, will do that soon). We are planning on taking it a little bit easier this time than in the past, and aren't going to rush from attraction to attraction, as we have pretty much seen/done everything we have wanted to. I would like to minimize as much as possible going from park to park for ADR's, but know that won't be completely possible due to the ones that we have picked. Our favorite parks are DHS, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. We do like to go to Magic Kingdom, too. There will be three adults and a 7 month old.

Could you guys help me try to figure out which restaurant we should go to when? There are only 2 that I have a time for, and those are 50's Prime Time Cafe for lunch on 5/8 (we live in Orlando, so we get there before lunchtime) and Tutto Italia on 5/9 for dinner for my Mom's birthday. Other than that, it is pretty open. I would everyone's opinions on this, as I'm kind of stumped on how best to plan this out (this will be the first time that we are planning anything...we usually just wing it). Oh, and we are staying at the CR, if that helps any.

Here is the list with what meal we want to eat there:

50's Prime Time Cafe - lunch - 5/8
Tutto Italia - dinner - 5/9
Crystal Palace - breakfast
O'hana - breakfast
Tusker House - breakfast
Chef Mickey's - breakfast
San Angel Inn - lunch
Teppan Edo - lunch
Restaurant Merakkesh - lunch
Liberty Tree Tavern - lunch
Chef's de France - dinner
Coral Reef - dinner
1900 Park Faire - dinner
Hoop-Dee-Doo - dinner

Thanks in advance!

I think I would suggest trying to get reservations near whatever park you are at for the day to save on commuting time.

What I usually do is plan what we want to do each day and then fit our meals into that so we aren't commuting all over the Disney property.

For example, maybe do Crystal Palace for breakfast when you are in the MK. Then do 1900 Park Faire via the monorail for dinner that night.

It also looks like you have 3 Epcot dinner restaurants and 3 Epcot lunches. Are you planning on going to that park 3 times because you would need a ticket for all those restaurants.

I think you will find it easier if you plan what you want to do first then figure out where you want to eat.

Have a wonderful trip!

I'll try to help!:goodvibes

If you're trying to stay at one park and eat there here's what I'd do:

5/8 Lunch at 50's Prime Time
Dinner at Grand Floridian Cafe

5/9 Epcot Day?
Breakfast at Ohana
Lunch at San Angel Inn
Dinner at Chefs de France

5/10 Animal Kingdom?
Breakfast at Tusker House
Lunch at Yak and Yeti
Dinner at 1900 Park Fare

5/11 Hollywood Studios?
Breakfast at Chef Mickey
Lunch at Sci-Fi
Dinner at Brown Derby (2 table service credits though)

5/12 Magic Kingdom?
Breakfast at Crystal Palace
Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern
Dinner at Hoop De Doo

5/13 Epcot?
Breakfast at Kona Cafe
Lunch at Teppen Edo or Marakkesh
Dinner at Coral Reef

It's kind of hard to help out though since I don't know which parks you want to do which days, etc. :goodvibes

Guess if I had said that we will be getting Park Hoppers it might have helped a bit. So, we can do restaurants in different parks on the same day. Also, we do prefer to use Disney transportation, but if we MUST, we could use our own car (we live in Orlando, and drive to Disney, lol). I did make up a "tenative" plan, so maybe it would even be easier if I just got your opinions on this.

5/8:
Lunch - 50's Prime Time Cafe (DHS)
Dinner - 1900 Park Faire (Grand Floridian)

5/9:
Breakfast - Chef Mickey's (Contemporary)
Lunch - San Angel Inn (Epcot)
Dinner - Tutto Italia (Epcot)

5/10:
Breakfast - Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom)
Lunch - Liberty Tree Tavern (Magic Kingdom)
Dinner - Hoop Dee Doo Revue (Fort Wilderness)

5/11:
Breakfast - Tusker House (Animal Kingdom)
Lunch - probably CS somehere in Animal Kingdom
Dinner - Chef's de France (Epcot)

5/12:
Breakfast - probably eat in a resort
Lunch - Teppan Edo (Epcot)
Dinner - Coral Reef (Epcot)

5/13:
Breakfast - O'hana (Polynesian)
Lunch - Merrakesh (Epcot)
Dinner - either CS, or wait until we get back home :(

Granted, there is a possibility that I can get my DH to agree to stay one more day, and if we do, then we will not add any additional TS meals but will spread out the ones we have selected and then have more CS meals.

So, how does my "plan" look? This is really the first time we have planned anything, including sit down meals (except for last year I did make a ressie for the O'hana breakfst...when we at at other TS places, we either walked up and were able to get in or made a ressie from the resort the day before we wanted to go). But, with us wanting sooo many TS meals this time, I figured it would be best to make ADR's so we aren't disappointed when we can't get something we really want.

Honestly if you can't get the extra day I would try to go to a few of the signature places otherwise you are going to spend all of your time eating.
