Which picture should I use for a Christmas card?

I'm a little late this year since we just got back on Sunday but I was hoping to get a good family shot via Photopass. Unfortunately, the ones we had taken at Animal Kingdom Lodge in front of the tree came out terrible! I have an ok one from Hollywood Studios but that one really isn't a consideration.

The two I'm going back and forth between are a picture of the whole family in front of the castle at night when it is all lit up. It's not a bad picture but it isn't great. The background is wonderful of course but my DD's eyes are not looking at the camera. I wish I could post it but haven't bought it from photopass yet.

So that is option #1 - a decent picture of the whole family in front of Cinderella's castle at night

or this one of just the kids....which I thought turned out really nice. DH is a photoshop whiz so I was going to have him take the light out of the background and blur it a little bit...

It's hard to give an opinion without seeing the other pic, BUT, you say the other one is at night and a darker pic. Personally, I like the one you posted. Kids are in red, so will go great with a card with reds & greens........just something to at least think about? And really, who cares about us moms & dads anyway ;)

Hard to tell without anything to compare to but I think the 1 posted is a good one. You can do a Disney themed photo card at walmart.com which would be super cute. They do a great job and are very affordable.

i would go with the one of the kids, it looks cute and they are wearing red so very festive

what about choosing a card that lets you use two pictures? I know walmart, sams club, and I'm sure just about every other company that prints photo cards now offers multiple image cards :)

The pic you posted of your kids is beautiful. I'd def. go with that one!

Go with both. I used shutterfly and had options of 1-4 pics and was able to pick them up at target.

I agree with using both if you can. But if the card you like will only take one, I think the pic you posted is cute! - especially as DH knows how to remove the lamp. (Can he also turn the background green? - I'm not a photoshop wizard myself.)
