Which Photoshop .........

Which photoshop would I have to get to edit vmk pics like cyre's purple crate pic and all what photoshop should be used?

Adobe Photoshop Elements would work and it is a lot less expensive than the full blown Photoshop. Elements is usually in the $50-$99 range.

There may even be free programs out there, if all you want to do is select a color with an replace it.

gimp is free, and is similar to the power of photoshop.

On PC: Right Click on the brush and click Color Replacement Tool. Select any color.
On Mac: Click on brush, then on the third toolbar, click Color Replacement Tool.

Gimp is good and you can get a portable version that will run off of a USB drive which comes in handy when you need a program at work and you cant get it installed.

Well I use Photoshop CS3, but I don't think you'd want to pay $649 XD

I suggest using GIMP if you want to edit because it's easy to use for beginners and it's free. I would not go into buying any programs until you want to actually make things from scratch or do some more complex editing.

The price of Photoshop depends on the version your using [some have different things, like extras and do different things] and the operating system. I have Photoshop CS3 Extended version which normally costs $1,000 [because I'm a Mac user] but I was lucky enough to get it for cheaper than the PC version. If you looking to buy something be sure to shop around.

Well mine was a gift but thats with its used for and building my art portfolio. I've done alot of really awesome stuff with it. Not to say that you couldn't with a free or cheaper program. I just think this is a bit more advanced and sometimes with out a manual it can be confusing .
