Which party is more fun? MNSSHP or MVMCP?

Which is more fun?

  • MNSSHP - It's a blast! Plus I'm a little creepy so I liked it!

  • MVMCP - I loved this! Nothing is better than good old Christmas with Mickey!

For those of you who have been to both, which do you think is more fun?

We've been to both and we liked MNSSHP better, maybe because it was raining at MVMCP. Whatever the reason, we are doing MNSSHP again this year.

Thanks Sirius...we are trying to decide between the beginning of December and 10/31 - 11/7

A friend of mine liked the halloween party better as well so I wanted to see what most here thought. The Halloween party sounds like a blast to me too.

You can't just say when to go...you must give good reason behind your vote. ;) Exercise those fingers Dan!

Tough choice!!

We've been to both. Since I had to choose, I voted for MVMCP. I think the Christmas decorations helped sway my vote.

Both were a lot of fun!!

For me, there is no question, I would prefer MNSSHP -- I love the weather that time of year, plus you've got Food & Wine Festival at that same time. I've been twice the first week of December and vowed I would never go that time again. THe decorations are nice, but its way too cold for me -- when I go to Florida, I want to be able to swim. I know it can get warm at that time of year, but I've never been lucky enough to experience it -- both times I went it was coats, gloves, scarf weather. No thanks!

If you like cooler weather though, I'm sure you would have a ball at MVMCP -- AND the decorations are really beautiful. Its definately something one should do once!

(I'm no help am I? :p Still, I'm voting for MNSSHP! )

I feel the same way you do. How are the crowds compared to beginning of December? I didn't even think of the food & wine festival though. We would love that. Hmmmmmm. Now you've got me thinking.

Plus, it would bump our trip up one month. ;)

I love them both, but hands down MVMCP is my favorite!

I love seeing the parks all decorated. The parade during MVMCP is one I had wanted to see since the old days on TV! Love the giant wodden soldiers.

Have you been dipping into the JD again Dan? MVMVP? Mickey's Very Most Valuable Player? ;)

We've been twice in the October/November timeframe and both times the crowds have been non-existant.

Psssst, sorry Dan! :p

We've been to both a couple times....

Halloween, we went in costume to the party...plus, there are acivities at the resorts.... AND, the "Headless Horseman" is awesome....AND, we also did the "Haunted Hayride at Fort Wilderness....

BUT...after much thought...I voted for Christmas....and it was as i said...a "Tough Choice!"

At Christmas time....we would go down the 2nd weekend past Thanksgiving....there were the decorations, the gingerbread displays at the resorts, the crowd level was down, there is the Osborne lght diplay at MGM and we always had a blast at the party...

all in all...you can't go wrong no matter which you choose...

BTW...the vote was tied when i voted....looks lke you'll have a "Tough Choice" too... :) :) :)

Don't listen to Snoopy, Bridget. :p Listen to maturity, Brer Papa and me. :teeth: And as for a V or a C, what's a letter amongst friends? :)

Ok so I haven't been to both :snooty: Christmas is always better than Halloween. So my vote is for MVMCP!

Your vote doesn't count. You didn't follow the rules. ;)

hehe I don't care MVMCP is always going to be better. :p

DH and I thought MNSSHP was much more fun, and the crowds are much smaller, we could walk right on just about everything. Plus, it is warmer.
