So I've posted once before about my trip but we've now added more days because why not ?😅 But with having to make park reservations I'm having trouble deciding what to do and which days, our last trip (December 2019) was just adults and I loosely planned days and we only had two park days (AK and EP). We don't have park hoppers, but we may add that on later. Our trip is Feb 1st- Feb 9th and my current plan is
Tuesday 1st- Epcot (Travel day)
Wednesday 2nd - Magic Kingdom
Thursday 3rd - Magic Kingdom
Friday 4th - Animal Kingdom
Saturday 5th- Animal Kingdom
Sunday 6th - Epcot
Monday 7th - Magic Kingdom
Tuesday 8th - Magic Kingdom
Wednesday 9th - Animal Kingdom

I'm wondering if there are days that certain parks tend to be less busy (I know disney is always busy but...?) I'm also thinking about adding in Hollywood Studios but not sure since we really aren't into Star Wars but after seeing the Disney Junior Dance Party think it could be fun. Our kiddo will be turning one during the trip, so my only really want was Magic Kingdom on her birthday. Anyone have any advice? How many days is too many in a park? I'm also not sure which park to take away so that we can do Hollywood Studios? So wish we didn't have to reserve parks and could just wing it based on what she liked once we got there or got closer.

I feel like that's A LOT OF TIME at Animal Kingdom, and I like Animal Kingdom. I would swap out one of those Animal Kingdom days for a hollywood studios day, but that's just me.

I like Touring plan's guesstimates of crowd levels, but the prediction is also a mess right now because they don't really have awesome data for 2020/2021/

I’d for sure replace two of those AK days with DHS. There’s a lot more to do there than just SW stuff, it’s certainly worth a visit. I usually try to avoid epcot and MK on weekends, but other than that I don’t really see a difference in crowd levels in different parks on different days. I’ll be there the same time as you, and some of our park days overlap, so uou made some good choices lol

I like AK but three days at AK sounds torturous, I really do LOVE AK but three days is too much IMO. I would def consider adding DHS for the dance party and other attractions. Your baby will be able to ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway as well as do some of the shows that might be fun. We are not big into SW either and we love DHS. I don't feel like it's a full day park for my family and we ride almost every ride so take that for what it's worth.

I do think having AK on a Saturday is probably a good idea but it's a crap shoot for what days are busier than others. MK on Mondays can get chaotic since that's the park most guests will book first to kick off their trip after arriving over the weekend, but this far out, it's really impossible to tell what February 2022 will look like.

Also, with having a baby, do you want to add any resort only days, Disney Springs days, relax days in there? You have a park every day for 9 days. My kids are 14 and 12 and I'm pretty sure they and my husband would kill me if I booked 9 straight days at the parks with no breaks. I know everyone vacations differently and as much as my family is pretty fast paced, we definitely need our chill days especially as we get closer to the end of our trip. Even on visits when we're not at the parks all day, sometimes we just need time away from crowds.

That's what I was worried about as far as AK but we were thinking since she loves animals she may enjoy it. I'm not really sure about adding in resort days since we're staying at POP and I'm not sure there would be enough to do there, since there's a good chance it could be too cold to swim. I'm also not really sure about Disney Springs since we aren't really big shoppers and other than eating, I'm not sure there would be enough to do there.

I don't have a huge frame of reference since both of my last trips were only 2 days and on one I was a child and the other was adult only. We're kind of expecting either going in late or leaving early from parks, kind of half days? We really have no set expectations.

If your child loves animals then go for it. I was thinking more from your perspective. With the baby, you could re-ride the safari, Navi River Journey, Triceratop Spin and watch some of the shows that have come back like Festival of the Lion King. I think not having any set expectations is key as you mentioned. You will have a good time no matter which park you go to. I understand not being shoppers at all and not wanting to hang out at Pop all day. I'm a wimp and usually don't swim in February either but depending on where you're from, you might be fine with swimming. February could be chilly or could be 80, really just depends. And all the pools are heated. My kids will swim in the winter months with no problem.

I would highly recommend a relaxation day. you dont need to hang out at the pool. You could have a leisure day and just do nothing! or take a tour of the other resorts; you don't need to be a shopper to enjoy Disney Springs, just stroll about and sample snacks. There's plenty to do there. /Just think about taking a day off from the parks, if only to rejuvenate. Your feet will thank you.
