I am trying to plan an itinerary for an upcoming trip. It will be my son's first trip (he'll be 14 months) so we'll spend the most time at MK. We plan to spend a half day in Epcot and another at AK. The rest of the days will be spent at MK and relaxing at the hotel. I don't think we'll even visit Disney Studios. Does this sound like a good plan?

That's sounds like a good plan. How many days are you going? We went for 7 nights/8 days, and I wish that we had skipped MGM. DD2 and DD6 didn't get a lot out of it, and we weren't there long. (And I'm not a huge fan of MGM.) We did do a second day at AK, which I hadn't planned. It is a nice place to walk around, and your 14 month old might really enjoy the animals.

And you could go back to Epcot in the evenings after a day at one of the other parks if you like walking around the WS. We did this a few times, and there is a lot to see that might entertain babies, esp. just sitting in the stroller. DD2 was entertained by the fountains, and there are some street entertainers.

Enjoy!

we're going for 6 nights. plenty of time to see what we want and relax a bit too. thanks for your input.

We're taking our DS in May, he's currently 14mo. It sounds to me like your plans are very much like ours. We plan to skip MGM too. We are going for 6 nights as well and are planning to do 2 days at AK, maybe 1/2 day at EPCOT, & the rest at MK:yay: Hope you & your little one enjoy the trip ;)
