I think a lot may depend on what time of year you are going and the EMH schedule for that month. We stayed off-site this trip so EMH wasnt an option but we chose non EMH parks to visit and got there at opening and it worked great for us. Sometimes a PS may impact which park you need to be at as well - especially ones that are hard to get.

What month are you traveling? Are the park hours available yet...if so, that may help a great deal.

We try to avoid park guide books(sites). We find,that for us, they all say something different and there is no way to know really what will happen on a given day.

On one trip back in the 80s we followed the Birnbaums guide. It suggested that if you go counterclockwise around the parks you avoid the crowds. Well,apparently everyone else read the same book.

Now for some people the guides do provide a service for them so I would'nt say that they are useless.

Your list is too general. It doesn't apply to those days that there are special events or times that the park closes early.

Like crjack said it doesn't take in to account EMHs or the time of the year you are going.
