Which parks to chose

I have a conference in Orlando in Feb and am going to go a couple of days early so I can go to WDW. I can get there Wed morn but it may be early afternoon before I could get to Disney so was considering just going to DTD.

1. Do you think it would be worth going to a park that late? Earliest flight gets me in Orlando at 10:33 but then have to get from Airport to Hilton then to WDW.

2. If I only did parks on THurs/Friday which would you chose?

For Thu/Fri, I would personally opt for MK and EPCOT. MK due to ride options and being the most "traditional" park and EPCOT because I like that one. AK *might* be okay. But it is often touted as a half day park.

As far as the late arrival. You may be able to get into a park by 2 or 3pm.
Whether or not going to a park that late would be dependent upon park hours and crowds. Jumping from a 2 day to a 3 day ticket that is not a park hopper is an additional $80.

Maybe spend that day touring DTD for free and having a nice dinner would be a better use of the $80.

Check to see if any tickets are available through your conference organizer - they sometimes have single park tickets or evening only tickets for a great price.
Specifically, my DH has gone to conferences and at Epcot gate they offered an after 4pm (I think that was the time) for something like $40 - would totally be worth that to me.

If I only had 2 days, I'd for sure do Epcot 1, MK 1. If you do Epcot that Weds Eve, I might make Animal Kingdom my 3rd park.

Agree with the posters who have recommended MK and Epcot. In the past I have also taken advantage of discounted after 4:00 passes that were available through my conference. Not sure if they still offer these or which conferences they're offered to. The conference that I attended happened to be held at the Contemporary.

Depending on how late the parks are open and what you want to do the next day it could still be worth going to the park that night. I am just not a huge DTD fan. Have you looked to see if anywhere has EMH that night?

For the arrive day I would say that Hollywood Studios might make a good park. You could get FP+ for Rocking Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror and Star Tours... see Fantansmic(One of our favorite shows!) and call it a night. The other option IMO would be Epcot for a nice dinner test track and Illuminations!

For the full days I agree with PP I would go with MK and Epcot.

Personally, I'd go for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood. I've only been once, and I was really disappointed with EPCOT. I like characters, and I like rides - the former are not as plentiful in EPCOT and the rides are, in my opinion, not terribly exciting. I also had perhaps unrealistic expectations about what EPCOT was - I kind of expected to learn a few things about the countries and that did not happen. IMHO

Y'all have given me something to think about. I was pretty sure I was going to do MK but since I went in March to MK, EP, and DHS, and missed AK, I was considering going to AK. Also, the conference starts at 7 Fri nite so leaving AK early was doable. Now I am wondering if I should go to Epcot. Lol.

I think I am going to try to book the hoop de doo review one night with some friends. Had thought about doing it Thurs on MK day but now am considering Wed. Ah, decisions, decisions....
