Which park?

A friend and I will be running the full marathon. We also would like to visit a park on Saturday, January 7, the day before the marathon. We plan to take it leisurely. Which park will be ideal or low-key for the day before the marathon?

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

All the parks will be pretty low-key that weekend, it's not a very busy time for crowds. But since the half-marathon is being held that day, the morning could get a little wacky at the MK and Epcot, mainly the transportation (except for the monorail) to and from the parks. If you want to avoid that, just visit the AK or the Studios. By late morning/early afternoon the MK and Epcot will be backl to normal.

Good luck to both of you...my wife and I ran the WDW half marathon in 2004 and it was one of the best experiences ever!
