we are visiting magic kingdom day one. Which park (Epcot, Hollywood studios or Animal kingdom) would you recommend on day 2 with a 3.5 year old. We are only going for 2 days so this will be the last day. Thanks

I agree with DisneyWishes14.

HS doesn’t have anything much these days for little guys (though that might change soon with Toy Story land). The shows are too long for a little to sit through and the few rides available are too grownup for them. EPCOT would be ok, but again, about half of the rides your little one would not be able to enjoy and much of the World Showcase would be over their head.

I would either just go a second day to MK, which would allow you to take it easy on both park days, or I would go to AK the second day and take advantage of the animal viewing and gorgeous themes. AK is our favorite park for any age, but I think would be the perfect second park option for little ones.

(Bring your stroller though! Loads of walking.)

I'm going to agree with Animal Kingdom. While I personally love Epcot, I think with your little one AK is the best choice. Festival of the Lion King, and Finding Nemo would be pretty high on my list of things not to miss, along with Na'vi River journey.

so Is that you land on day 1 go to park
then day 2 go to park and then leave for home

Tbh I would probably do a second day at MK in that situation, but if that is off the table I would probably do AK if the 3.5 year old is really into animals and DHS if they aren't.

I would start at AK. It's a wonderful park and this would be an opportunity for your child to appreciate all that it has to offer. Magic Kingdom is fabulous, and what most children and adults consider "Disney". I think it is very hard after all of the magical experiences to then go to another park that while it is equally spectacular, it is not as visually stimulating.

They don't necessarily have to be into animals....The park is beautiful...I'd say AK...as well....There is a lot to see n do....

I would vote Epcot.. Contrary to popular belief Epcot actually has LOTS to offer for small children.. Just to name a few:

The Seas with Nemo and Friends
Turtle Talk with Crush
Epcot Character Spot (Character Meet and Greet)
Frozen Ever After
Gran Fiesta Tour with the Three Caballeros
Journey Into the Imagination with Figment
ImageWorks at Imagination Pavilion
Advance Training Lab at Mission Space Pavilion
Character Meet and Greets around WC
KidCot Stops (Kid-friendly activity stations at each country around WC)
Fountain Playgrounds in Future World

In addition, some small children may also enjoy the ambiance of some other slow-moving rides such as Spaceship Earth and Living with the Land..

So long story shot, I recommend giving Epcot a shot for your second day.. Hope this helps!

I don't know any kid who isn't at least a little bit into animals, or who wouldn't enjoy develop an interest in the animals at AK. In addition to the shows and rides, it is worth just strolling through the treks/exhibits which some people often leave off their touring plans, but are extremely well done and worth experiencing.

I would say AK.
Unless you are going in summer.
That park is, in my opinion, unbearably hot in the warmer months.

True it is warmer, at AK, than @ the other parks, but maybe just a couple degrees....Not enough to stop me from venturing to that visual park...* Remember, there's always KRR to cool you off--->:cold:......Well maybe not that cold, but refreshing at the very least.:teeth:

I had a 3.5 year old at Disney last year. I would do a second day at MK, or AK without question. Epcot was ok but personally I'd prefer AK. Definitely not HS right now for those ages.
