Which Park?

Hello everyone,

I'm new here and I hope I'm posting this in the right place! My husband and I are heading to DW on Tuesday for the first time, and aren't sure what parks to go to. We have about 2.5 days (he's in training for the rest of the week) and have already been to Disneyland and California Adventure several times. That makes us think that we should skip the MK and see the other parks- thoughts? Thanks!

In my opinion I wouldn't skip MK. Even though you have been to DL, it is a bit different.
As for the other parks, what do you like? If you are an animal person, AK is great. If you like world travel then Epcot. I am not the best fan of DHS, it is my least favorite. But research it, see if it is what you like.

There is no way you can see it all in a couple weeks, let alone 2.5 days, so I say research some things you've seen or heard of in the past and do those.

DHS is my least favorite park also, but I love Fantasmic at DHS...so that makes it worth it for me to head to DHS.

you could get park hoppers and spend equal times in each park if you want to see all 4...but if it was me and I had 2 1/2 days, I would spend one day in Epcot, one split with MK and DHS (or just all MK), and the half day spent at AK

I completely agree.This would be the best strategy for you! DH and I are only going to have two park days on our upcoming anniversary trip. We have 2 day park hoppers and are spending a 1/2 day in each of the 4 parks but this is our 7th trip since 2002 so we are hitting our favs in each park and catching a few things we have skipped on past trips when we had kids in tow. We are also staying in a monorail resort so we can maximize our travel times to 2 of the 4 parks!

Don't skip MK! If I had one day in Disney, that would be the park I'd go to. I agree with the park hopper idea. You have 2 and a half days, so maybe you can spend a full day at the park that interests you the most and then half days at the others.

I would say if you live in a large city with a decent zoo, skip AK....its beautiful and way better than a zoo, but still my least favorite park. Don't skip MK!

If I only had 2.5 days I would skip MK. For adults, I prefer Epcot and DHS. AK has also grown on me. I didn't care much for it at first but I like it much more now. Honestly MK is the least favorite for me especially when I am traveling without kids.

I would do a full day at Epcot and Animal Kingdom and do a half day at DHS.

It all depends on what you and your husband prefer.

I somewhat agree with this posting... Dont skip MK it will leave the best memories with you... AK is great but if you have to decide against one this would be the one. Also as far as Epcot or HS it would depend on if you like travel or movie entertainment.

But if noting else have fun. Dont try and smash it all in pick a few and have a relaxing time...
