Which park would

Animal Kingdom- Although I don't think we gave it a fair shot when we were there last fall. We are going to try to explore it more the next time we go. I have to say if we had to skip one that would be it. My ds would freak if he couldn't go on The Tower of Terror.... I would freak if I couldn't check out the World Showcase and we would ALL freak if we couldn't do Magic Kingdom.

OK - so that didn't answer your question correctly.

All the parks have their merits, but for us we would skip epcot if we had to skip one of them. We love the World Showcase and usually always do a dinner there, but we only spent a couple hours there last year after dinner and had seen enough by then. We really like Animal Kingdom - it's got a lot of hidden treasures.
MK - a must for all. MGM - Tower of Terror and Rock'n Roller Coaster - nuf said.

my $0.02

My DH and I would probably skip MK. We don't have kids and aren't too fussed about the rides there (there are better rides in other parks IMHO) I love animals so would not skip AK and I couldn't skip MGM because of ToT and RnRC. I love the world showcase at Epcot plus I like test track. I have been to MK already and have been to the MK at DLP so would not feel that bothered about leaving it out.

The reason I asked Is I think we are going to get a 3 day hopper pass, I think it takes a full day at least to do each park, and the last time I went I found Epcot boring JMOP

happygirl -

I agree with you, and my girls (now 12 and 14) don't seem to find too much they want to go in Epcot any more. We will go and ride the two biggies there (Test Track and MIssion Space) and we will stop by Germany to get some gummy bears (for some reason the girls think they taste better from there than the same ones from Target), but that will most likely be the extent of our trip.

Have a great trip!!

My up coming trip is a short one, so I am skipping MGM because on our past visits we have always fisnished the park by parade time while MK or Epcot really require two days to enjoy all the fun. I wouldn't consider missing AK because of the animals.

If I had to skip one park, it would be MGM Studios. I don't enjoy the "feel" of that park as much as the others. It seems more crowded and noisy and there seem to be more teenagers there. It's a half-day park for us.

My mother and I just returned from her very first trip to the World. We only had 3 days, but she wanted to see everything....and we did! Using early entry, we did this:

Day 1: EE for MK (we did Tomorrowland and Fantasyland), left around 11:30 for Epcot (we did all of Epcot except TT and MS, and stayed for Illuminations that night....we even had two PSs: one for Garden Grill for lunch and another for later dinner at Le Cellier in France, so we started the World Showcase in Mexico)

Day 2: EE for AK (we did EVERYTHING here except Asia by 12:00), left for Disney-MGM (had a PS at Prime Time for late lunch), did most of the park that afternoon, stayed for Fantasmic, and then went to Boma for a late dinner.

Day 3: Spent all day at MK. Entered the park early for an early PS at Crystal Palace. We also had an early dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. Watched Spectro and Wishes.

So you can do all four parks in 3 days, if you are using Park Hopper tickets. Course, I've been several times and had the good stuff picked out! We only did Character autographs at our 3 character meals, and that saved time in the parks. We were going at a pretty good clip, but still fit in a lot of fun and plenty of "retail therapy" (aka: shopping!). We also used Fast Passes wisely, which also can cut down on wait time, and rode those rides which build up a wait time quickly earlier in the day, if we could.

Have a great time, whatever you do!

If I had to skip one park, I think it would be Epcot right now. We all (including DD4) had a great time there, but it didn't hold the same 'magic' for DD as the other parks, so if we had to forgo one, I think that would be it until DD is older. Although, I like KSgirl's suggestion; getting time in all the parks in the 3 days. :D

MGM. Don't have any interest in the thrill rides there. Nothing else appeals to me. No "charm".

If my time was limited I'd skip Epcot. Not that it isn't interesting and enjoyable, which it is. Its just that its so big and essentially two parks--the Future world and world showcase. It really takes two days to see it right. And you really do want to allow time for a sit-down meal in one of their excellent restaurants. However, it doesn't really have the "magic" that the other parks do. That's just my opinion. It seems like a lot of walking and a lot of concrete. There's just not enough of Mickey there. There aren't any parades in the day like the other parks, just the Illuminations which really appeals more to adults. My kids found it rather boring, plus its at 9 pm, which meant the kids didn't get to bed until about 11:30, way too late for kids who want to be up for the parks the next day. IMHO, Epcot is more for adults. Go there if you have time left over with the kids. Or do like I did, one day I sent dh with the kids to MK and I spent the day at Epcot by myself. I really enjoyed it then as I could explore as I pleased without two 6-year olds whining all the time for Mickey.
