Which park would you skip?

Epcot. The Future World theme has fallen apart and is tired. The World Showcase is a glorified outdoor mall you have to pay to shop in.

Close second is Animal Kingdom. Not enough animals to be a (rather expensive) zoo, not enough rides to be a theme park.

DHS. I am getting bored with the shows at DHS (they don't change) and I hate racing around trying to make show times. I greatly prefer AK because it is the type of park where you can just slow down.

in all of my trips, ive never been to epcot, cant say its not my favorite because i havent been there but i LOVE the other three. I honestly think AK & HS are my favorites, i know im strange but those two are just more up my alley. I love them all though!

You should give it a try. We anticipated it being our least favorite BY FAR, and it ended up being the one that requires the most of our time :lmao:

On the flip side, we anticipated DHS being possibly our favorite and again the opposite ended up being true.

Oh of course. I'm going in May and spending plenty if time in each :)

Out of all the parks which is your least favorite and why?

I wouldn't skip any.

Not trying to be snarky. Just an honest answer. The whole package makes up a WDW vacation to us. We have lots of things we enjoy at each park. If we had to miss one, we would wait until we could see them all.

Hollywood or Epcot honestly.

I'm just not the hugest fan of dhs, there's not enough for me to do there, I'd go strictly for B&tB show, Tot & Fantasmic maybe, that's enough for me to just park hop there midday and do that and leave kinda thing.

Epcot is usually the one that ends up getting skipped, but now with Anna & Elsa we've been hitting it up in the morning and doing a few more characters before taking off.

Although with no Festival of the Lion King, we have skipped AK the last 3 trips as there just isn't quite enough to do there without it. I do absolutely love that park though

It would have to be AK. The problem is this:

DHS has zero decent quick service. I like their sit down restaurants. But almost every quick service there is burger, fries, pizza, etc (with a few still-not-so-very-good exceptions) HOWEVER, there is tons to do with all the great shows and attractions.

DAK has food choices, but the problem is, there is really not much to do. I can't stand Dinoland. The games and attractions at Chester & Hester are ALL pointless, and I don't really enjoy Dinosaur, however my fiancee does, so sometimes we will go there for that. Conservation Station takes too long to get to (especially if you JUST miss a Wildlife Express train) and for what you are getting there, it's not really worth the time of the trip. Camp Minnie-Mickey never had anything worthwhile, besides FOTLK (CMM is gone anyway, now)...and each land only has one or two attractions.

Even though I would hate to miss Finding Nemo, Everest, and Kilimanjaro, I'd have to skip DAK.

We were in the position of having to skip one last fall and we skipped EPCOT. My husband and daughter love Star Tours. We rode it 6 or 8 times in a row. So even though we don't have many other must-dos in DHS, we couldn't skip it. It ended up being great b/c we had plenty of time to take it slow and savor the ambiance. AK is a must for my animal obsessed kid, even though we're members of the San Diego zoo. We enjoy the long ride (and lower crowds) at the conservation station. And Kali is really great when it is hot. We also like that you can get pictures with Mickey AND Minnie together there.

As someone else said, EPCOT future world is not in the best shape, I've never forgiven them for changing the imagination ride, and my husband travels a lot and finds World Showcase too corny. That being said, I'm really looking forward to spending time in EPCOT on our next trip! I missed it!

It's between AK and Epcot, honestly.

MK has the highest concentration of 'classic Disney', of course, but I'd argue that DHS has the second highest. I love the atmosphere on the main streets of both parks. Both parks have shows that I love. And my favorite casual activity is DHS's drawing class---no way would I miss that!

AK has a beautiful atmosphere and unique attractions going for it. Epcot has some neat shopping and eating. It all depends what I'm more into that day, but if I was forced to choose one to skip on my next trip...it would probably be AK by a hair.

I would definitely skip HS lol but I'm not a huge thrill seeker ( I cant even get on space mountain lol but I can get on EE at animal kingdom) but there is nothing wrong with skipping a park :) have fun for us who cant go :)

As other posters have said, it really depends on your family and personal preferences.. If you've never been, then take the time to research each park. My first trip with my husband before kids was only to MK and Typhoon Lagoon. The next trip with our kids was to MK, Epcot 1/2 day and HS 1/2 day. The last time we went we dedicated one entire day to HS and skipped Epcot. Our kids fell in love with it their first trip and wanted to do it again with their Nana.

Our upcoming trip we are fortunate to be there an entire week, so we will get to visit AK for the first time. I have several friends that say AK is their favorite park. We will see how we like it. I've left our last day to decide what park we want to revisit. We may do AK if we like it enough, HS again, or you can never go wrong with multiple days at MK.
