Which park would you skip?

Out of all the parks which is your least favorite and why?

Hands down, AK. Not enough rides for our non thrill ride family, and the shows have been the same forever. We have much better animal interaction at our local zoo, so the animal experiences are not enough to get us there every year. That being said, we might go to AK this year because we have skipped it the last few trips, and DS has agreed to try ITTBAB again, and I'm still trying to convince both kids to try Dinosaur. The last time we were there, it was too cold to do Kali, and the kids like that ride.

I thought it was just me. We are Disney newbies and this will be our 2nd trip in august. We are thinking about skipping AK and doubling another day at another park. It was cool bc it was our first time but I was expecting more.

There is nothing wrong with not loving a park. :goodvibes We had 8 park days last year, and still skipped AK. Everyone has their favorites, and not everyone has to like everything. Go with your gut. :thumbsup2

We disliked ak first time also. We love this park now. We like it because it is a quick park. We just hop over to another park when we are done. But if I would skip one , sadly it would be ak. Hope I never have to make that choice.

HS!!!!! I could skip that one easily. Not too much for me there (I won't ride ToT and just rode RnR for the 1st time and don't LOVE it like I love EE and BTM...I do like TSM and the shows but my fam is not big on those so....). We spend the most time in Epcot and then MK. AK is a fave of mine cause I love the animals and love EE, the Safari and KRR...plus we like Y&Y CS and TS.

AK is our favorite.

Hands down is Hollywood Studios - Absolutely nowhere decent to grab a meal, two headliner rides (RnR and TSM) that generate tremendous lines and a bunch of outdated shows that have been there forever (B and B, IJ, LM)

Very small park that doesn't have as much nooks, crannies and nuances to enjoy - you can spend a lot of time at AK wandering through the trails and enjoying the atmosphere.

Easily AK. Especially now that the lion king show has been stopped for the next 6 months .

Our family skips AK on shorter trips, or only visits for a few hours in the morning on longer trips. There aren't any "must-dos" for us at AK, though my kids enjoy the Safari and the Rapids.

Sci-Fi and 50's diners are two of my favorite restaurants, not just at WDW, anywhere ;)

I would skip AK. I'm starting to like the park more now, but I've never really liked how they laid it out. It seems like they made all of the pathways very narrow and it always feels a lot more crowded than the other parks to me.:) It also seems a lot more difficult to find indoor seating for counter service dining or air conditioned escapes.

We have skipped AK on 2 trips, when the baby was 3 and 4 . She enjoyed it at age 5. The petting zoo was not as good as others we have visited, and she needs 4 more inches to ride Primeval Whirl. I think she is big enough for Everest this year, but that idea seems a little scary(to me):)

Eaten at both mutlple times, while the atmosphere at both are great, we really enjoy the 50's waitresses and a shake and fries at the Sci fi ,the actual food quality is about as low as it gets anywhere on Disney property. I won't even go into what happened to my family after eating at the BD. Compare to AK that has Yak and Yeti one of the best at any theme park, a very good buffet at Tusker House, and a good quick meal option at Flame Tree.

Hollywood Studios.. We lived there (and had annual passes) for 9 months, went to the parks several times a week and never visited HS. Don't feel like we missed anything either, only things we enjoy there are Playhouse Disney, Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast.

AK is our second favorite.. Love that place. My children could wander the trails for hours and not get bored. They are upset we are only going 1 day when we go this time.

We used to skip Animal Kingdom every trip. But this last trip we skipped Hollywood Studios instead. But worth visiting, just not every trip.

Even on a 10 day trip, AK gets about 2 hours of our time. Absolutely would skip it in a heartbeat. 2 of our kids actually asked to stay at the hotel and just swim this year instead of going with us.

I think this is completely based on the family/people going. DH would choose HS over AK anyday, but I would choose AK over HS anyday. I love watching the animals and going on EE, KS, and Dinoasur. I could totally do without ToT and RR which are his favorites. On our last trip I was able to make the picks (AK) but on our next trip we are going to do HS. Neither of us would sacrifice MK or EPCOT though (classic rides of MK or WS at EPCOT).

Traveling with a 5 year old and two 2 year olds, AK and MK were our favorites. Epcot and HS didn't have much that appealed to our little ones (shopping and eating at Epcot, playground and parades at HS.)

If I had school age kids or adults, it would probably be the other way around.

Same here. When the kids are older and will ride Everest and Dinosaur, we will probably spend half a day ;)

Surprised people mentioned HS. It's my husband's favorite. And, I love all the rides there, especially Great Movie Ride, Star Tours and Rockin Roller coaster. Also, last trip we ate at Hollywood and Vine and loved it (weird to say about a buffet), the characters were great for our kids.

Just another reason I love Disney. Everyone has favorites, least favorites and things they have to do and things they'll never do :)!

in all of my trips, ive never been to epcot, cant say its not my favorite because i havent been there but i LOVE the other three. I honestly think AK & HS are my favorites, i know im strange but those two are just more up my alley. I love them all though!
