I think we have a pretty good plan. This trip has been postponed twice already so basically following the blueprint I’ve created from the beginning.

But wanted a basic idea of:

Are there certain parks you should avoid on certain days.
Are there certain parks that are better on certain days.

This is for April.

4 adults
1 child (thrill seeking tween)
base tickets
Genie+
DAS
No EEH
Probably won’t do an after hours but maybe?

Original plan

-Saturday arrival day
- Sunday HS
- Monday AK
- Tuesday rest
- Wednesday MK
- Thursday Epcot
- Friday HS
-Saturday rest
- Sunday Epcot
-Monday MK
- Tuesday departure day

Looks good?
Anything you’d change?

Monday's tend to be busier at MK and Epcot tends to be busier on the weekend so would perhaps consider swapping those last two days, but I assume you planned it like this purposely for MK to be the last park of your trip?

Yes, wanting to end with the castle. 🏰

But if that’s a bad idea I could be swayed…maybe switch the last two days with each other?
MK Sunday, Epcot Monday.
The only problem would be if Epcot has EEH on Mondays
I’d rather end our last night without be kicked out while others are arriving.
Would rather end our last night closing down a park.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't say it is necessarily a bad idea just something more to be aware of particularly if your April time is around Spring Break. The good thing is you have 2 days at Magic Kingdom and you'll be there at a time where you shouldn't need park reservations so you can always switch things around. I do like a MK day after a rest day because it tends to have the longest hours and the most walking but if I really wanted to end with the castle I'd do that no matter what.

I know these crowd calendars haven't been as reliable recently but the Undercover Tourist one does go through April 2024 so you can take a look at your exact dates and cross reference with your plans.
