which park when

We plan to spend Thursday March 12 and Saturday March 14th at IOA and US. We are a party of 3, me, DH, and DS (11). Which park would you do on Thursday and which park on Saturday and why?

I know the park close at 6pm on Thursday and 8pm on Saturday. We would like to be able to do as much as we can. My husband and myself have been to both parks but it has been years. My son went when he was 3 - so basically its all new to him.

Well do you have any interest in seeing the parade or the concert? Personally I would probably do Universal Thursday since there is more to do and will probably be less crowded then Saturday and then on Saturday do IOA till later then shoot over to Universal to check out the parade or the concert since its something I havent seen before.
