I am considering doing the Park/Sleep/Fly at Buffalo before my trip in March and wondered if anyone has any recommendations?

I once stopped at the Ramada Airport hotel in Buffalo and it was a dump!

You will receive many opinions here, and here is my 2 cents.

The Homewood on Dick rd is decent, indludes hot mean, beer and wine in the evening Mon-Thurs., and hot breakfast everymorning. It has shuttle on demand to/from the airport and parking is included and they are very flexible.

Also, they are 1 BR suites if you are travelling with others/kids that can utilize the sofa bed!

We stay here every time we are in Buffalo. The only thing they don't have is a pool. I've never had a problem there. They are pretty reasonable as well.

We have stayed a few times at the Comfort Suites on Dick Road and have always really enjoyed it Shuttle/parking/breakfast/nice indoor pool hot tub/mini fridge/microwave.

The rate used to be around $89 but have now jumped up to about $130 so am looking at other options as well.

I just checked the site and it says that you now need a minimum of three nights starting in September, which is when we're going. :confused3

We stay at the Holiday Inn Express on Buell St. right across from the airport. $155 + tax per night. Includes breakfast (cold and hot cereals, toast, bagels, pastries, eggs, sausage, bacon, coffee, milk, juices). If you're leaving before the breakfast room opens they'll pack you to-go bags to bring to the airport. It is only a couple of years old, has a pool and fitness room (neither of which we use) and the shuttle runs 24/7 and only takes a couple of minutes to get to the airport. You can leave your car for up to 14 days before being charged extra on a per day basis.

We've stayed at both the Homewood Suites and the Holiday Inn Express. Our preference is for the Homewood Suites, both for the extra space provided and for the uber-friendly staff. It's expensive for our March trip, but we'll stay there anyway, figuring that with both breakfast and dinner included, the price is manageable.

We have stayed at The Millenium twice.
You can walk across the street to the Walden Galleria and the shuttle to the airport is about 15 mins in duration. We got a pretty good deal on parksleepfly.com

We try to stay at the millenium too. We did stay at the Best Western (breakfast included) and while it isn't as nice as the millenium it IS nicer than the Ramada. I fell into that trap once too!

Actually, it turned out that I was looking at the wrong Sleep Inn. Found the one I should have been looking for which is right by the airport and booked a reservation. Got it for $68 tax in (regular - not park and fly), including breakfast, and the reviews from Trip Advisor were decent. I was thinking I'd just park at the airport with that rate but I think I'll call to see if they do have a park and fly rate that will work out even cheaper.

This will be my first time flying through Buffalo. Is it pretty safe to leave your car at the hotel (assuming you don't end up at a dump)?

I called La Quinta and got a rate of $89 + tax, $10 less than the parksleepfly.com rate. Direct telephone 716-633-1011. Shuttle to the airport included, continental breakfast starting at 5 a.m. and parking for 8 days. We weren't planning to stay unless the weather forecast dictates...

Has anyone stayed there? Just wondering if it is nice enough!
