Which park should we go to on Columbus Day?

Hi all -

I need your advice - what park should we go to on Monday - Columbus Day?

We're spending Sunday at MK (I know it'll be packed but we have to start and end our trips at MK) and thought about doing AK on Monday but are open to suggestions...

AK is a good choice and that would be the park I would visit.My second choice would be MGM.Have a great time on your visit to WDW.

If you want, in any way, to include some sort of educational thing about Columbus and his voyages in your trip, it being Columbus Day and all ..., I'd suggest Epcot. You can literally "walk around the world," and you can also do the "Italy to America" walk and say you retraced the route of Columbus.

I know that sounds corny, but my family used to make a big deal out of silly stuff like that. We would do this big departure from Italy, telling the CMs there that we were on a voyage to new worlds, and then do a big "Oh my gosh ... we've come over from Italy and we discovered America!" thing when we got to American Adventure, and then reward ourselves with ice cream and funnel cakes. We got a lot of odd looks, but we had a good time.
