Which park on which days question

We'll be there Fri. 12/11 until Monday (afternoon) 12/14. We'd been thinking DL Fri., CA on Sat., DL on Sun. and then whatever we feel like on Monday before we head back to the airport in the evening. I had assumed Fri. would be less busy at DL but keep seeing comments that Sat. might be better (AP blackout date)? We're WDW vets who have been to DLR a few times, most recently last Dec. Oh, and we'll be at DLH and have multi day passes so we should be entitled to a couple of MM's (though 7am Friday will be tough as we get in super late on Thurs. night). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My suggestion: Park Hop! DL opens earlier than DCA, so we usually head there first and hop over to DCA when DL starts getting busy around lunch time.

Yep ~ both parks each day! Start early in DL, head over to DCA in the afternoon, then back to DL in the evening!

I agree. Do DL in the a.m. grab all the FP you can for later in the evening. Then head over to DCA. You can enter DCA 1/2 hour before official opening and either ride or grab FP for (or do both) Soaring. Do DCA and then head back over to DL (before DCA closes, otherwise you'll be in a long line)

And yes, Sat. will have less AP holders since most of us can't go on Sat. and starting on 12/18 (12/19 for SC) we won't be able to go again until Jan. 3rd (or 4th)

Definitely park hop, we rarely do only park per day and when we do we feel like we don't get anything done. The parks are the length of a football field apart.....just hop......and not all APs are blocked, we will be there the same weekend, arriving Friday 12-11 in the late evening and staying until 12-17 afternoon.
