Hi Shardiva! A lot depends on whether you want to take advantage of Extra Magic Hour (EMH) and whether you'll be taking afternoon breaks. We usually visit during the hot, crowded summer months (including next week!) so we like to take advantage of EMH whenever we can. We take an afternoon break to swim, nap and just get out of the heat, then we go back to the parks late afternoon until closing.
Some basic rules are:
Avoid Saturdays at MK (always busy!)
If you're taking advantage of EMH, hop to a different park for the afternoon and evening
If you're not taking advantage of EMH, go to a non-EMH park that day. Some people say the best day is the day after an EMH day.
The EMH days at each park are:
MK - Sunday
AK - Monday
Disney-MGM - Tuesday
Epcot - Wednesday
MK - Thursday
AK - Friday
Disney-MGM - Saturday
An easy way to remember is, starting with Sunday, the first letter of the EMH parks spells out MADE MAD.
Here's what we have planned for our upcoming trip:
Wednesday - EMH Epcot/evening MK
Thursday - EMH MK/evening Epcot
Friday - MGM morning (not EMH)/evening Epcot
Saturday - Free day/pool day/relax around the resort day
Sunday - EMH MK/evening MGM
Monday - Typhoon Lagoon
Tuesday - AK morning (not EMH)/evening MK or Epcot
Wednesday - Downtown Disney/leave for home
