Which park? (May 10th, Mother's Day)

We plan to be in the parks on Mother's Day for a short trip and are trying to decide between HS or MK. HS has EMH in the morning that day and MK has the EMM paid event in the morning. We will be staying on property but have usually avoided EMH in the past but not sure if that is still a good strategy? With it being Mother's Day, I'm wondering if we'd do better attending EMH at HS or to rope drop MK after the EMM crowds? We wouldn't be paying for that event and only have 1 day in each park.

Don't overthink it. Just pick the one you want. I really don't think there's going to be a huge difference between the two beyond that fact that MK is always more crowded than any other park regardless of day/week/season.

As an offsite non-rope drop person, I would say that the thing about avoiding EMH is nothing but hype and myth. I see no reason to avoid a park that has it.

Watching this thread as we will be in the parks on Father's Day. Currently we plan on going to HS on Father's Day for the EMH. With RotR and Runaway Railway both open then (?), and a probably still an off kilter FP situation, we think we need the extra hour to try to rope drop something.

We've been at MK for two Mother's Days now and it's really the same as any other day. They hand out flowers to the moms as you enter (and the children of course want to take them) but that's about all I remember. It was crowded but when is a Sunday at MK not crowded anymore?
